Ok, thanks, :)

I read somewhere that they have had a little more time and effort spent on them, better wood and better balanced :hmm:

Hi,

When I went to my local gun shop I handled both the 686E and also the Black action version. They are exactly the same although IMHO I muched preferred the original. The Black action looked a little tacky and are also more common now days than the silver action.

The shop had loads of Black action guns available but I had to wait a week or so for them to get my gun of choice.

Which ever you go for they are a great gun and I am chuffed with it :lol::D

cheers mate, although I wanted to know if the ltd edition models (which also have a matt black action and only 800 made world wide) where any different to the original 686e.

Cheers :D
