Vince Green
I went with my son to the London Motorcycle Museum in Oldfield Lane South, Greenford, just off the A40. Its a little place run by an elderly couple but they have a good collection and its run with obvious love of their subject. I really enjoyed it and so did my son. It only cost £3.50 for me and my son to get in. I thought I would post it because there must be many of you out there who are stuck for somewhere to take the family on a Sunday without spending a fortune when you get there. Blunderbuss
Good post, I've not been there but will check it out. The national motorcycle museum in Birmingham is also an excellent day out.
Dunkield
Did the Birmingham one recover OK from it's fire? I went before that, and it was excellent.
Supersonic
Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum in the New Forest is also worth a visit. Nice ride out through the New Forest as well. 10/10 Nige

Yes, and very quickly - I've no idea how, they must have had every motorcycle restorer in the country working flat out. MCN printed some interesting before and after pictures, after it reopened. On some bikes there wasn't much more than the frame and engine left, yet they've restored them all perfectly. I bet their insurance premium is a bit steep now though! John_R
One motorbike museum sadly no more was the one at Combe Martin in Devon. They simply ran out of money and had to sell up, a great shame.
