M ROBSON
I'm pretty sure Winchester XX were fiber wad in the 12g, they certainly were in the 10g anyway. Their like hens teeth now though, you might find a shop with some hidden away. Try getting in touch with Caledonian Cartridge Company, they used to make a very good 3" load. caledoniancc.com Mark. I have used the winchesters for foxes before, they are an excellent shell.

henry c
does it not really hurt fireing these 46-50 gram loads or am i just being a wimp :(
M ROBSON
I fire quite a lot of 63g loads through my Xtrema and never really pay much attention to the recoil. I've shot a 10g for 15 years also and find myself concentrating on what I'm shooting at so don't really notice the kick. Mark. Ps I must admit some of my new homeloads do pack a mighty whack! :(
henry c
i suppose its similar to when you shoot a target for pattern testing etc. the recoil is much more noticable. would my beretta silver pigeon 3 take loads as heavy as 60 gram?
