M ROBSON
Go down to B&Q and get some of the large black bulldog clips, their great for holding the net to the poles in a strong wind and you can add grass and other cover to your hide with them too. Cranfield
You mention attaching the net "permanently" to the poles , I wouldn't do that. I find its best to keep the net and poles separately, which helps when transporting them and gives you greater flexibility when making your hide. You may not want the posts in the same place all the time. If you want to attatch the net "securely" to the poles, the bulldog clip suggestion works as does small string ties (if you are tight, like me ) I normally have a five pole hide, ie. a square with a "V" at the front, but I do vary it according to location. Sometimes I only have two poles and a "curtain" type hide, which I stand behind. It pays to stay flexible.

Staffs-Shooter
An extendable clothes prop can also be useful as a front strainer (to the front two poles) and as a roof support.
norfolk.enchance
Hi, You can get reusable zip ties from most of the big DIY chains. They are absolutly great for fixing nets onto poles on very windy day's. As they are reusable they last a long time. Hope this helps. arjimlad
I have flexible green garden wire on the top of my poles which enables me to easily attach and detach the netting.
