aaron airgunner
popped this off a place where have seen woodys sit tight for ages. shot was at about 20 yards and i messed it up a bit aimed for the neck and hit it in the crop. really need to get my mounts sorted out, my scopes creeping through every 10 shots nearly. anyway it went down with a few flaps and manage to flap its way into a large bed of nettls before it hit the ground. fortunatly it died about 3/4 the way down so it was a realtively clean kill. £15 pounds away from my s400, im going to miss the old lightning. its going for £90 due to quite a few scratches, nothing deep, and the fact that the screws at the front wich hold the action to the stock have snapped off into the action . any gunsmith can repair this. it also comes with a 3-9x40 scope and cheep and cheerful home modified (replace the screws for a tighter hold) mounts. aaron airgunner
aaron,i thought i saw the gun a week ago on thl for £300? it was for 160 and a lot of things have happened since then. the scope creeping has left some scratches on the scope which are quit visible. the screws which hol the action to the stock have snapped off into the action due to the gunsmith overtightening the screws (as you can see from the photo i am holding the action to the stock with cable ties although any gunsmith can fix this with ease) and there are a few small scratches on the stock. it is nice to handle, fitted with a gas ram so very powerfull and accurate, and it works well to 30 yards in the right hands. a perfect tool for somone who wants a gun which will do the job but wont be perfectly mint. i am selling it for £90 because i simply want to get rid of it so i can buy have enogh money to buy a good scope and pod for my s400 when i get it. 40 pounds for the scope and about 50 for the bipod. its all i need!
