Ferrets

My kitts are 11 weeks old now and i'm well chuffed to bits with them.

I've never known an animal eat as much as they do! they are growing at rapid rate though. Im fortunate to have access to plenty of meat either in rabbit form or odd leftover bits from work.

I put a couple of full size rabbits in with them last week, but one of the older jills kept dragging them away and hogging them, so ended up tying a leg of each of the rabbits to the frame of the hutch, to give them all a fair crack at them.

This is what I found in the morning:

Thanks for the replies guys, chuffed to bits with them, really looking forward to working them aswell.

Im liking those silvers, quite big ferrets, mine are around 5 weeks older and are half the size. LOL

Cheers FB, there are 2 silvers that are almost twins and they are definately going to be big boys! Their dad is a big sandy hob belonging to a mate of mine. Strange what differant colours you get from a sandy hob and polecat jill.
