first goose of the season

went down my local shore this evening for duck flight the weather was perfect very windy and a bright moon. i got my first goose of the season and 2 mallard out of 5 shots so wasnt to bad. the goose came down dead in the air was happy with the shot. only got a picture of the goose as it was to dark when i shot the mallard but i enjoyed it and my grandad had a mallard and teal aswell so he enjoyed it too.

Guessing by the pic you shot the goose with your O/U? What cartridges did you use in it as I will be using mine if I get the opportunity to get out this year :(

yeah its a silver pigeon 5 and i was using bismuth and they were number 4 as i was expected duck but a 4 or 3 is fine aslong as your not shooting them at quite a range
