badsworth
The Lanber sporter has multi chokes and the field gun fixed chokes. The side plates of the sporter are nickel finish and the field gun blued. The field gun has an automatic safety catch (goes to safe when the gun is broken and closed) and the sporter does not. Hope this helps. Badsowrth
Tam
I have one of each, both multichokes Game gun has game scene engraved sporter standard. Email GMK with serial number & if not to old they will tell you. In my opinion you could use either gun for sporting or game without too much of a handicap B) Tam.
