noz
I was just about to join DARC at Euroguns when I got the word that they were about to cease trading. This has set me wondering whether there are enough Airgunners in our area to set up our own club, affiliated to NEFTA. The problem, of course, is the land needed. Anyone any thoughts on this? It would be nice to buy Euroguns site!!!! but I cannot see this; even if 100 people were interested and EACH put in £1000, that is is only £100,000. Even around here, that does not get you much!! Lets have a few ideas, suggestions, whatever, please.
Puggers
Hi, My son and I have shot at Euroguns but didn't take the plunge to join due to working hours i.e. they weren't open at nights. Try Rotherham Chantry Rifle, Pistol and Social Club (http://rcrpsc.org.uk) as they have indoor and outdoor ranges and once you have served your probationary period and can comply with other club rules, you can shoot at any time although they do have dedicated nights to air rifles/pistols. Joining fees are slightly more than DARC but you get more for your money particularly as you can talk to other members and gain from their experience. Hope this helps and ATB. noz
Just one thing why do you want to be affiliated to NEFTA ? Just thought it would widen the appeal but as I said, the problems are money and a suitable site

Quite a bit more expensive; £205 for the first year!!
