They are on a road trip to Oakedge today, Mr Potter is going to be the beneficiary of some. One can never have too many black puddings for ones self they were just too good to give away to pesky southerners . :-)

you could freeze a couple and wrap them well,

 

yes they will be defrosted but may last better

 

Of course you couldnt refreeze

From my experience of sending loads of frozen dead animals through the post, if you wrap the frozen puddings in a couple of sheets of newspaper then wrap in tin foil, they will still be frozen on arrival
