Devilishdave
Not being funny but why do you want a rifle that would look more suited in the hands of our special forces than out in the field shooting?? Dave

dunganick
hmmm that is a bit tastey, unfortuantly my 'collection' is limited, however i tend to include my dads stuff as my own, as it someday will be....(he's got a few years left in him yet....lol thank goodness) out of his stuff, for being unusual and good looking, i like his real mauser m66, with beutiful wood, in 243, with rust blueing and a swaro 8x56 ontop, i will get the whole lot out at some point and get a picture of all of our 'collection' i think its about 15 or 16 guns between us

sussex lad
Very very nice!!! Great minds think alike!!! You have the rifle that i am saving for as i type!!! What do you use it for Fox or Deer ?
Subsonic Flyer
Hi I use it for both. Very very pleased with it especialy the scope. It was pricey but its spot on and will return to the exact zero after using the dial in adjustments for windage etc. The rifle was accurate out of the box and reloading for it couldnt be easier. With Sierra Spitzers I can use almost any powder weight and get (tested 41 - 46g R22) great accuracy. It was difficult to choose the load. I am sure you will be pleased. verminator
Im looking for a new .243, i went to The Gun Room at Acklem on saturday. Great bunch of lads, anyway they were giving me all sorts of advice. I was thinking of a sauer 202, but also looked at a Tikka T3. I know the majority of rifles on the market will do around .5in at 100 yrds. Im looking to spend at the most £2000 on the whole outfit. what do you reckon? dunganick
my personal fav foxing rig is a sako 75 standard in 222, 223, 243, 22.250, 6.5 with a swarovski 8x56, 30mm tubes, and then all tha handloading kit...lee dies etc.., this will bring you in at about 800-900 for rifle about 500-600 for scope, plus sako mounts which are around 125 to 150, all the reloading stuff (assuming you are going to reload) isnt much at all...with this you would probably have enough to get it screw cut and buy a t8 or t4 moderater for it.....it will out shoot almost any rifle avalible, wont ever go wrong.....wont break......is a very attractive nicely ballenced gun and the scope is in my opinion the best fixed power scope, (admitadly the hungarian s+B are a good deal and almost as good a quality) i realy cant recomend this rig enough, its so good my dad has bought two identicle rifles, one in .222 the other in 6.5.....a group from the 6.5 is floating about the pictures section somewhere......will dig the link out in a min. you wont regret buying this rig
