Its for attaching a film camera to the NV, to use as a lens

 

Would let you take pics of whatever you were looking at, from your point of view.

 

From what I read you can get "T" adaptors for most good DV cams as well, so you can take video as well :good:

 

For IR you'd be better off making a mount from a maglite, jubilee clip, some tape and a cheap tripod base :good:

NV will always have this problem. If you reduce the contrast and definition of a picture you will always have depth perception problems.

 

I have the same problem, and I am sure anyone else out there has too. Only way is either know your land and landmarks or use a range finder :good:

Depends on a lot of things. You will be able to spot "eyes" out over 100yds - to be able to see its really a fox, again depends but inside 60yds I'd think.

By the time I got out of the dentists this morning they'd sold out :good: Happened me before in Aldi with cement mixer, they'll likely get them in again!

bit of a bitch that mate. whats the range like with the cement mixer please. :D

Around 8 yards on a steep downward slope Mark, it's lethal! :D It's slightly innacurate but ya can't have everything. Save a bundle on scopes mind :good:
