pin
I know what an SRP is Just interesting most sites have them for 279 euro, nice to get a real bargain Mind, given £299 SRP for the scope I would expect to get the camera adapter and eyepiece for about £10 the pair

Ferretboy111
Ah i see, shame they dont sell any Infa red adaptions. The magnification i get, however i dont get the camera adaptions bit? any ideas? Alex
pin
Its for attaching a film camera to the NV, to use as a lens Would let you take pics of whatever you were looking at, from your point of view. From what I read you can get "T" adaptors for most good DV cams as well, so you can take video as well For IR you'd be better off making a mount from a maglite, jubilee clip, some tape and a cheap tripod base
Ferretboy111
Ah, a waste then really, unless you want to take photos of nature, or neighbours, Magnification would be good though, much better than its so called 3x mag which it isnt, its more like 3x mag reversed thus making it look further away than it actually is. pin
NV will always have this problem. If you reduce the contrast and definition of a picture you will always have depth perception problems. I have the same problem, and I am sure anyone else out there has too. Only way is either know your land and landmarks or use a range finder

pin
Depends on a lot of things. You will be able to spot "eyes" out over 100yds - to be able to see its really a fox, again depends but inside 60yds I'd think. Nice one PM! See my other post, 5x eyepiece and SLR camera adapters are available for them

Around 8 yards on a steep downward slope Mark, it's lethal! It's slightly innacurate but ya can't have everything.
