tiercel
The stand was made with the angle iron off the back of a road sign. Its all bolted together as i did'nt have a welder.
tiercel
The windscreen wiper motor is held on by bolts to a plate that is bolted to the top of the frame.
tiercel
The rotating plate that holds the arms is bolted to the top of the motor. Then the arm holders are welded to the plate(had to pay for that aggghhhh hate that word pay). Also note the 10mm nuts and bolts welded to the holders to tighten the arms in position. tiercel
Finaly the arms these are made of 3mm spring steel, with four lengths being bound together to take the weight of a dead pigeon. The mounting brackets for the birds are made of wood and steel and are ajustable for angles so you can have the birds cambering in if necessary. So thats it took about a day to make and cost approx £5 not bad if your tight like me. PS i should add i made this about 4 years ago and its been in the shed for the last three.
