  6. Was a good day managed a 88 ehich is about 57% which i'm pleased with, specially as it was the first time i saw the majority of the trap discplines. Was most pleased with a 20 ex 25 on the DTL first time of trying it and a 19 ex 25 on the skeet.

  9. Just seen on the news that gurkas who haved served for us in every campaign we have going on foreign climbs can not recieve benifit and aren't meant to be here, how can people who actually help this country be treat so bad. Labour was meant to be for the common man, not for the common man from Bombay. What a crock of ****
  10. I agree StuartP, was just tryin to explain DQ reasoning for being so heated, tony will i'm sure take further action if its needed. Modding on here doesn't look all that easy, simply trying to keep the peace can look like being heavy handed in some peoples eyes.
  11. Right hello all, what a right little tussle we've been having the past few days. As some of you may be aware i'm a mod on the "other site/"the darkside" etc. (i thought i would state that before you think i am posting with an ulterior motive). The stuff that has happened with Tony/Outlaw has been a little out of hand, a insulting PM is one thing but when you marry it up with someone sending mail to his house threatening him and his family then the whole situation takes on a whole new light. I think that is why dramaqueen was so heated in her posts, the mods are likely to be unaware of the letter and thus didn't realise the full extent of the problem. I'm not writing this to try and mix it up again, i was intending on putting on the previous thread but that has been locked halfway throw typing this out. I'm lucky enough to call Tony one of my mates, and i know that he is as bored with all the bickering that goes on, on this site and the other as it does no one any favours and really distracts from the whole point of forums. I think its fair to say tony was a marmite member when he was on here you loved him or you didn't, and i think alot of the trouble does stem from people who liked tony trying to run sabatage campaigns on this forum. It ain't big and it ain't clever and i know tony ain't behind it, he is happy where he is doing what he does. Forums are for a bit of fun relating to a shared passion, with a bit of banter and debates mixed in for good measure, trying to make more of it than that is a little sad. Good shooting lads Greg
  12. I can't imagine that Taylor was intending to brake his leg, but he sure as hell wasn't going for the ball. If his foot was on the floor then it would be bad timed, but that high up was intentional to make his presence known, the out come was alot worse than he expected thats all.
  13. Whats that got to do with the price of fish??
  14. That was never a accidental challenge, you don't go in that high with your studs showing, i doubt that Taylor wanted to do any damage but i'm sure that Birmingham like a lot of teams in the premier thought that kicking the **** out of arsenal was the best way to upset them. Unfortunately it has lead to this
  15. Just trying to keep the peace gents. All friendliness will end when the clays are in the air. However mine will land the same shape as they set off. Intact but scared with some warning shots
  16. hi olly have a look at my post in the clay section http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...showtopic=50374 if you can travel in or around bucks area might be of use to get in contact with tony.
  17. Hello all, as i'm fairly new to the sport i thought is was my best bet to get some coaching before i set off on my own. I started off with a short lesson down at jericho farm, which helped me get a grip of the basics, but some serious polishing was still in order. Thankfully after joining this site Tony (Outlaw), said he would be more than willing to give me a hand, and for the last couple of weekends i have been going along with him, in the hope to improve my shooting. First lesson saw him checking my eye dominance, stance and generally improving my gun mount and swing. This was done at Drayton Parslow shooting ground. Where we completed a 100 bird sporting layout, which in high winds saw me hit a respectable 58. After the lesson tony also showed me through gun cleaning, which was useful as i was slightly confused about the whole process. This weekend was another new challenge at northampton sg near sydwell, where we completed not only a round of sporting but also a 100 skeet layout. This was excellent because everything i had been shown the previous week helped as i no longer had to think to much about as feet placement, swing etc. After a few pointers from tony i shoot the 100 birds without to much need for any instruction, and managed a 64. By the end everything was coming together and i felt alot more relaxed and it was becoming more natural as i wasn't having to concentrate on every little thing. If it wasn't for some silly shooting i may of even managed a 20 ex 25, but alas that is something to aim for next time. If anyone wants to get in contact with tony, PM me and i'll pass on your details. Cheers Greg
