  1. I have 2x 250 boxes of Eley Zenith 12G 32g No 6 (Fibre wad) cartridges for sale. £75 per box. Doncaster, collection only with SGC.
  2. I think we only touched then sporting stands...from the carpark we went pass the toilets to the first stand on the track then went right past the lake right to the end where there were some really fast crossers in a field. Then we turned around and ended up at the other end where there were 2 traps off the cherry picker. Really enjoyed it. Definately going again. Dont think we did the other bit.
  3. I normally shoot @ parklodge as the member prices for clays are 22p but recently as others have mentioned there has been alot of stands out action, lots of no birds and the stands dont seem to change as often. So last weekend we took a trip to Pinewood near Blyton. Really enjoyed it. Good variety of stands, 1 no bird out of over 200 clays and well priced @ 24p for non members. Was really suprised @ cartridges @ £4 a box... Craig
  4. ive come from rifle shooting so at the moment I have both eyes open when the clay is launched then I close my left eye to take the shot. I am right handed and right eye dominance. Craig
  5. Not sure... I know a few people at the rifle club i used to shoot at were told the same thing that the feo and police would prefer the cabinet not in the loft.... Though it was over 7 years ago when i got y license so things may have changed.
  6. Ive been hit in the back (thankfully i turned round) by one when it was windy. We were shooting at a clay ground the other month when we realised the R to L crosser stand we were on was dropping the clays pretty much in front of the stand 2 stands down from us. We stopped shooting and reported the stand to a ground man after one missed clay (there were several that day) caught the wind and sailed straight into the cartridge bin on the 2nd stand down! The groundsman closed that stand straight which was good. Craig
  7. I was advised by South Yorkshire Police not to put my cabinet in the loft as they were worried about people coming in after a hard days shooting and not bothering to climb up into the loft to put the guns away instead storing them somewhere till the next day. Fortunately I found another solid location for my cabinet as most of our walls are plasterboard. Though a friend did lay his cabinet flat on it back just next to his loft door then coach bolted it to the floor/ceiling beams. Now he only has to poke his head through the loft door to access the cabinet which the police were ok with. Craig
  8. Very good. I had a 16" barrel version before this one but this seems more accurate. For last few months ive been using it for yorkshire benchrest competitions at the club. Craig
  9. The above is nice too. While camping in wales made a 190 mile round trip to the Penderyn distillery, had a tour round and then spent £150 on whisky!
  10. for under £50 the Bruichladdich's are nice. I am biased as I am currently working my way through their range slowly lol. so far ive tried the following: http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/P-15629.aspx http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/P-21594.aspx http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/P-11058.aspx http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/P-13380.aspx I wouldnt mind trying this one http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/P-21592.aspx but its currently out of my monthly whisky budget. The Dalwhinnie and Dalmore as mentioned above are nice too. Craig
