  1. That's done it. Looks like the North may have won again after all. I've just checked the official spreadsheet as sent out by sporting targets and that has you down as 72 including straight 10s on stands 7 & 11? However you wouldn't be the first to suffer from mis-identification by a scorer. At the end of the day though, they are the custodians and arbiters of fact as it is recorded in the history of the PW charity shoot.
  2. See my reply to your other post and let me know if that works.
  3. I haven't had time to put them into the scores section and they are temporarily on the home page. However, the way the site has been implemented this year can make it prone to the side effects of aggressive caching policies - as often employed on mobile devices. You should be able to see them OK if you can clear your cache.
  4. Hot off the wires. The South (817) beat the North (741) in a rare, though well deserved I'm sure, win. For individual scores see the website.
  5. Result and individual scores now up on the home page of the website for all those anxiously waiting.
  6. For some reason I have a mental picture of you both driving down the A1 in a red Fiat 500L singing along to Now That's What I Call Music 48. Oh, and yes I'm sure your request can be readily accommodated.
  7. 22 to 5 now that I've uploaded last night's additions.
  8. A similar question was asked fairly recently on another forum I happen to frequent. The first reply, which says pretty much the same as Billy, provides a decent real world summary. PS Apologies if you are The Hack by the way.
  9. Thanks for those - both locations now added. Your comment on the public footpaths leading from the farm strip reminded me of Will Self walking from his house in London to a hotel in New York - via Heathrow and JFK airport - as briefly described in the second paragraph of this New York Times article.
  10. Bedford Autodrome have three helipads available, PPR only - http://www.bedfordaerodrome.com/helicopter-landings.aspx I'll add a marker to the map for you.
  11. The PW Charity Shoot website never sleeps, it merely has a little pause between events. However it does now have this year's details and will continue to be updated as enrolment progresses.
  12. The (provisional) individual and team scores - which are still subject to argument, appeal, arbitration and adjudication - should now be visible on the website - http://pwcharityshoot.co.uk/scores_2016.html Well done to all who participated and contributed in various other ways towards raising the money collected for Orchid.
  13. I strongly suspect that it is only the winner of the stove who has actually managed to dry out yet.
  14. I'm afraid I can't find any indication either way in the archives, Tam. I've a feeling though that you didn't stay the night for that first shoot. However my memory is of a similar vintage, and probably in just as worn out a condition as yours. Looks like you're going to have to blow the dust off those old credit card statements. Your fellow squad members - DSPUK, magboy, magman, Markio, ME, MM, Mr Potter and Son Of Potter, some of whom are still around, may be able to shed some light.
  15. It should be now... but hopefully not for long.
  16. The work is in progress young Padawan - http://pwcharityshoot.co.uk/entries.html
  17. Being as how fenboy and motty have brought the conversation round to statistics; I've just been having a quick play with the database - it's a full on Rock 'n Roll lifestyle we lead up here in Worcestershire during the winter months - and there's a couple of targets this year, both collective and individual, that seem worth shooting for. Largest attendance for a shoot so far was 80 at Orston last year, and the last time that the shoot was held at Hodnet the attendance was 74. The total amount raised for charity last year was a record at just over £6,500. Beatable, but it'll be a stretch. There are currently 8 members of the Six Star Shooters comprising all those who have attended every shoot thus far; 100milesaway, Beardo, Catamong, Evil Elvis, Mr Potter, Shaun4860, timps and Yellow Bear. Additionally there are 15 Frequent Flyers who have participated at every different ground at least once with this year's return to Hodnet providing an excellent opportunity for a further 22 members to upgrade to this exclusive club.
  18. Without wanting to break any confidences, he's one of the three people known to have 'shot for both sides'.

  20. I'm not entirely sure why, but I was instantly put in mind of the old classic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPzzgE34YQY
  21. It's beginning to sound like quite a diet you must be on there.
