ive got a springer and don't really know about pcp's but can't you fill em so far with a bottle and then top em up with a pump.Aren't you just putting more in.

had a go on a bsa ultra the other week very light a bit funny to load but you get used to it good gun

hw 80 is quiet to start with a mate of mine had one and when i was shooting at the side of him with my hw97 which is fitted with a moderator mine was by far the loudest. its the action that makes the racket and silencers dont make any difference to that. save your money. :blink:

I tried for ages to find a download of a permit . So i sent a email to BASC asking if they had one,i got a phone call today from them saying that if the landowner gave his verbal consent thats all you need. Is this right i was always told you need written consent. :blink:

you can get a decent springer like a weihrauch for £200ish with a scope and you don't need anything else apart from a tin of pellets.Forget CO2 only for pointing at paper.PCPS depends how much you want to spend but pumps are a no go unless you are a triathelete so its a divers bottle. As for FAC a mate of mine has a bsa super 10 its the only experience of FAC air guns ive seen but it kills rabbits at 50yds. -

ive got an smk for the back yard but i definately wouldn't point it at anything other than paper. tweedledee's right about that gun they are very good.

i have been given a tin of wasps so i thought i would try them in my backyard. first one went about 10 yards second one got stuck in the barrel. its ok it came out
