Forte diesel treatment is used and recommended by lots of garages.
Very useful just prior to MOT can even be added direct to fuel filter for max dosage

Lime powder is used to kill gape larvae which can survive in the soil for a long time . Especially treat feeder and drinker sites.

This may help
235/85 X 16 Tyres have a manufacturers minimum rim width fitting of 6 inches.
'Wolf' style steel wheels are 6.5 inches width and can be used for both 7.50 x16 AND 235/85 x 16 tyres.
Most 'Aftermarket' steel LR fitment wheels (eg 8 spokes and modulars)are most commonly 7 inches wide (same as most LR fitment alloys) and can take 235/85 and 265/75 x 16 tyres.

Had similar which turned out to be Giardia , evident in sample.
Samples have to be taken over 3 days to ensure the complete infestation cycle is covered. It can be treated with a course of Pancur.
Also be aware of possible food allergy, chicken is a common problem. I ended up using a lamb based diet to avoid the problem.

+1 for Meindl Dovre Extreme's but make sure you get the size right , best to try them on if possible.
I avoided the expense for a long time but glad I bit the bullet. You do need to wear them in as they are a bit rigid to start with.

Have you thought about using a 3 way tap.
Cold , hot tank and instantaneous supplies.

If you are going to council tips be careful of size limit before you need a license.
Some council site operators are real picky over such things just to be difficult

Had a similar problem on a discovery. It would sometimes also cut out on rough ground.
Ran a separate switched live to fuel cut off solenoid.
May be worth a try
Good for the pigeons perhaps.
