  1. There is no variation for a SGC. The cert authorises the right to acquire or sell any shotgun.

Newly acquired guns or sale of already listed guns are required to be notified to the issuing authority, often an email is OK.

On subsequent renewal the current list of guns held is updated on the new cert .

Of course a resonanable limit on the number of guns is expected.

  2. The preserved birds hold feathers well as long as you keep them reasonably dry and they are not abused.

Formaldehyde ( or Formalin) is available from some chemists (eg Lloyds Pharmacy) you can order it for preserving specimens.

The big advantage on the rotary is that they are light.

  3. I have used the same technique in the past for static decoys , the only real difference is that I use a syringe to inject the formaldehyde.

I inject into all remaining meaty areas including into the skull after breasting and gutting the best birds I can find.

I now only use this method to make decoys for the rotary , set them up on a simple wire frame to hold the wings out. This frame has a mounting included which clamps to the rotary arms. After they are set up on the frame they can be used within a week as they do not need to set hard as for statics. If kept dry they last for many months and only take 10 mins to replace. They are carried on a mounting board hung between the rear grab handles in the roof of my Landcruiser so are safe from damage.

  4. Well with sound set on vibrate the strange noise did not appear. No trace of anything on the notification screen.

So although issue is probably not fixed at least it is quiet. Cheers Bruno22rf

Have contacted the Samsung help line and await any pearls of wisdom they may give , not holding my breath

  5. Any mobile geniuses able to assist.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace which has a strange problem. For the last 10 days on the stroke of midnight the phone gives a quiet repeat beep beep noise, the screen does not light up. It is not a ringtone or a message alert or an alarm , it stops when the screen is touched and does not leave any call log event.

As you can imagine it is most welcome at that time of night.

I have tried a factory reset , removed the battery and disabled all apps etc. I even tried resetting the clock manually so that midnight came during the day but the noise did not appear.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated before I set it too silent at night.

  6. I am trying to find the paint code for the interior trim panels (window switch panel etc) a dark silver.

Toyota only supply the parts pre painted and cannot / will not give the colour code.

I only want to spray match a small scratch repair.

Any advise , leads or info would be appreciated.

    Thanks for looking
