  1. For sale is my XL Musto clay jacket in Moss (green). Excellent condition, no tears, holes or stains, I don't smoke so it doesn't stink either and all zips etc work as they should. Very light use, I have given up clays and lost weight so it's too big for me anyway ! £70 posted ?
  2. I'm looking to buy a spare mag for my newly acquired Mauser 201. Please let me know if you have anything !
  3. I'm looking to buy any five or ten shot mags for my newly acquired Mauser 201. Please let me know if you have anything !
  4. Up to about a hundred quid or so..
  5. I'm looking for a scope mounted gun light suitable for bunny bashing with a .22 rimfire. I want something with integral batteries, which won't fall apart in six months, but nothing too expensive. Any recommendations please ?
  6. Thanks - that would be nice (they've had it a couple of weeks now)
  7. The usual rule of thumb is 28" - 30" for game, 30" - 32" for clays. 30" is a good compromise to start with, you'll upgrade from your first gun soon enough anyway !
  8. I've applied for a .22LR and don't expect any problems - any idea how long North Wales are taking at the moment please ? I was hoping to go shopping at the Midland Game Fair at the end of September.
  9. Take a screen shot proving he used your image, then send him an invoice for £100.
  10. Hi Phil - as discussed I'll take the gun if it's still available when I can arrange to get to you, in the meantime if someone else turns up with the cash please don't wait for me ! Thanks
  11. If this is still for sale I'll take it please. Perhaps you'd let me know ?
  12. Do you ever get over to North Wales ? If you do, I'll take it !
  13. Because the mounting holes would be in the top then :-)
  14. Looking for a full height shotgun cabinet, 3 - 5 guns, must be approved and have a left hand door hinge. I have a right hand hinged cabinet that I can include in any deal, or will buy outright. Thanks Patrick
  15. I'm happy to take it at £20, but the ebay ad is £30 ? Please advise.
  16. I think the Oakenholt sporting shoot is on tomorrow (10/10/10) - can anyone confirm this please ? Thanks
  17. I shoot at Llandegla regularly, and although I've only been up once in the last few weeks due to work and holidays it's obvious that a great deal of effort has gone in since the new ownership. Good luck to him, without people like this that are prepared to put their money where their mouth is many of us would struggle to find decent venues to shoot at.
  18. Nothing wrong with DT10's. Blasers though..................
  19. £2 is your registration fee, gets you a little card you can swipe in with. Apparently they've had to tighten things up there since someone lost an eye last year through not wearing glasses. Not sure how having a card helps, but presumably their insurance requires it. Strangely, it's free if you only want to go once, but costs £2 for a year.
  20. Unfortunately I can't make Sealand due to work, but thanks for the invite. I generally shoot at Llandegla, where you can take a counter and shoot as many as you like. There's a Wednesday evening DTL comp (unregistered) which I usually shoot - it's very close to home for me. I realise it's a little further for you, but if you ever fancy it let me know ?
  21. I mostly shoot DTL, although I shoot sporting from time to time.
  22. I find it difficult to keep concentrating through 100 clays. I frequently hit the first 25, only to have a disaster on the next round. I know I can shoot well if I concentrate, but I find my mind wanders - I end up thinking about my score, what I'm doing later, where we're going tomorrow etc. Has anyone else found anything that helps to keep focused ?
  23. Holy thread resurrection, Batman ! Wish I was paying the prices quoted on some of the early posts here......
