  3. I am intending to have the barrel chopped on my old BRNO its already screw cut but threads are ******** ...so a barrel chop and re cutting should save its life..the barrel measures 25" from crown to bolt face ...however i intend to cut it at 12.5" which is 2" longer than the end of the stock...is 12.5" ok for barrel length ?? fitting a SAK mod on the end should make it pretty versatile..
  4. I would be interested how do you go about paying for them ..? if you could give me details i will get you the cash..
  5. cheers...Yeah have done that ...switched it off saved it rebooted switched it back on reinstalled eye etc etc you name it i have tried it ...could be heading back to the SKY + box and telling sky to stick their HD subscription up their nudgers !!
  6. Evening all Have an issue with my SKY hd box ...we recently had a power cut ..on power back on our magic eye ould not respond to the remote signal ...purchased a new magic eye....same problem ...the eye is powered from the 9v dc supply from RF2 on the rear of the SKY box...out the multi meter accross the socket ...2vdc...and here lies the problem !! the box is hidden away in the cupboard under the stairs and tv is up on the wall... so having to get up off my a$$ and change the channels is a pain in the breasts !! the box is out of warranty ...anybody seen this before or have any bright ideas how to fix it
  7. Got a spare stock for a ruger 10/22T after upgrading to a boyds stock ..I cant find a retail price for this so have no idea how much its worth..its a year old ..only been used at the range indoors so its in cracking condition ...needs an escutchon (spelling) as i used it for my new one...dont want to be accused of having an auction.. so your thoughts on pricing would be appreciated...dont want to give it away or ask for a silly price for it !! Can do pics after i get the rugrats in bed and out of my hair !!!!!
  8. There are differing types of timers on sale. Some timers actually switch a pair of contacts to switch on the device being timed. This means they can switch any load up to their contact rating. Other types of timers use an electronic switch to control the load. Some of these type of timers do not like to switch a small load (such as a low power lamp)

    WRX Scoob

I was in the same position as you about 2 years ago...bought a WRX 2.5 shelled out 60 quid every 3 days for petrol 400 quid for a years road tax ...the brakes were **** even after a new master cylinder and servo ...uncomfortable on long journeys ...constantly getting challanged by fiestas and corsas at traffic lights...ended up chopping it in for a BMW Msport diesel now only 60 quid a month on fuel and 130 quid a year on tax....BUT....i really miss the subaru for raw power and that noise !!!!
  10. A pic of the Gumtree special...the seller bought it last year and never even had it out the bag !! a steal for 100 quid its pitched (roughly) as a trial in the back garden
  11. Just found a Coleman Tri Space Local to me on Gumtree ...unused for 100 quid so if its "as says" i will be getting it !! Thanks again for help
  12. cheers for replies so quickly ...food wise will just be picnic stuff during the day from a local supermarket maybe some bacon rolls in the morning ..hopefully we will choose a site where we can go for a decent pub dinner and a few drinks at night
  13. Hoping somebody on here has some experience camping with two kids 8 and 5 for a week to 10 days....my dilemma is tent choice ..have been looking at a Vango Breckenridge which is a 2007 model rrp then 400 quid...now 140....looks like a good tent with a living area and two seperate rooms  its exactly the design of tent i would like but some bad reviews ...ie leaks...and 50min pitching time also quite heavy 32kgs and bulky ...need to pack all this and 4 bikes into a BMW 320 saloon with roof rack ...if anybody can help with decent tent manafacturers or can reccomend a specific tent in the 150-200 quid mark i would be very grateful..after persuading the misses to dump the GHD's for a week or so i want this trip to be a good one !!
