    new rifle

I've got a AAS410 carbine .22. I love it and I think it would take some beating. make sure you get the new model tho. they have got safety catch on trigger. HW100t I cant coment on this gun I have never used one. good luck I hope you find what you are looking for. KIPPER
  4. BRATTONSOUND, gun safes are verry good I've got 1. make sure you get a rifle one thoe as njk said. you would get a scoped rifle in a shotgun cabinet but it is a bit tight. (speaking from experiance). your doing the right thing geting a safe to store your guns in. my safe has a shelf in the top also comes in handy to store other valuables and documents. good luck kipper.
  5. well spotted that man. if your gun is shooting low and to the right then you need to adjust the scope up and to the left with the turrets. but first of all, make sure the scope is in the clamps the right way round, make sure the scope is in the clamps tightly and is not moving arround make sure the clamps are tight on the gun and there not moving about. make sure the barrel on the gun is clean and not bent, "new gun" or is it asecond hand one. dont just suspect the scope eliminate other things to. good luck kipper

    Maggies

I hate maggies there flying foxes , There has been a great big maggie on my back garden for the past 2 mornings. Its like a black & white crow (but I'ts not). as soon as it arrives all the other birds disapear . im gonna feed it ACCUPELL through my AA S410 KIPPER
  8. FTS are you thinking that the pointed pellets might penatrate through the feathers easier tha the domed ones? Im sure I have heard that said before. I used to swear by rws super points. untill I tried accu pell pellets last week. they are far more accurate than the super points (in my AAS410 anyway) I noticed that the superpoints were distorting easily on the skirt of the pellet and the accu pells have a good solid skirt around the dase of the pellet. I then tried some ELEY WASPS (domed heads) they was worse than ever. did not group well at all. but I noticed that the super points and the accupells are .22cal 5.5mm and the eley wasps are .22cal 5.6mm is this normal? kipper

hello again chaps, do you now if the QD swivel is the same thing as a QD stud,? I picked up my deben tracer max pro yesterday and I'm well impressed with it. just need to make my mind up on which harris pod and buy one. I have almost made my mind up for the Harris 9" - 13" swivel. I have found one for £65 + £5 postage. I have asked the seller a question about how much the QD stud is and he said they will supply 1 free with the pod. thanks in advance kipper.

    bipods !!!

stoggieman I admire your willingness to have a go at making a pod yourself, the camera pod thing has entered my head to, I have made fishing and shooting equiptment before that has worked well and Im quite proud of it . we live in a throw away country. redesign-reuse-recycle you cant beat it however a harris bypod has lots of good press and I have no doubt it is a valuable piece of kit to any serious hunter (though it is over priced i.m.o ) as was said earlier the slightest movement and the quarry has gone. . I dont get out hunting half as much as I would like to so any advantages are a BIG bonus. I dont wany to take any chance of missing quarry. the harris bypod did not fall out of the sky somebody had an idea and played about with it experimenting the outcome was the harris bypod was the. good luck kipper

    bipods !!!

looking at buying a harris swivel bypod 9"-13". are they easily detached (quick release) from the gun when not needed. ( when shooting from car window). are they inter changeable ( could I buy 1 pod and use it on 2 guns) qd swivel ? what is this sorry about all the ?. thanks in advance. Kipper
