Site is open all year........... when i was walking round the site,you could get up close to them (2 yards) before they moved. even on the wide open areas they didn't move much....At no time did they go under ground... I counted 170 rabbits.....the ones near the vans run under the decking an you could see them...never see any go down a hole..
  3. Hi I was on holiday at at caravan site in Scotland,which has a massive rabbit problem.When leaving the site to come back home, I handed a business card into the reception. The girl said she would pass this onto the owner.I received an email from him asking me how I was going to help him reduce this problem,as the site do not allow guns of any sort to be used. PROBLEMS 1.. Not many rabbit burrows about, all rabbits under the caravans which are not boxed in. 2.. Went out with my torch at night you could see the rabbits under the van. 3.. Would long netting work,(What would be the best way to set up) ** I was hoping to use air rifle but this is a no no** Any suggestions would help....... When the sun was out they were sun bathing.

  6. When i used to do them.We charged 1 hour a side.That was £40 hour.plus two bottom wishbone arms..plus two pinch bolts.....

Hi guys and girls sorry not been on sooner pc problems.pigeon forum looks different,unable to open gmail. possible virus :unsure: The caravans are owner occupied most of then shut down for the winter.I have insurance. hoping to go to the site in the next week or two and pluck up the courage to ask them. Hi GUYS I know of at least 2 large static caravan sites with a large population of rabbits,they burrow under lodges,caravans and deckings and poss do other damage.my mum has a van on one of the sites.the sites are open all year,almost empty during the colder months. I was thinkin of lampin with air rifle....Do any of u guys control rabbits on caravan sites....if so how do u approach the owners? Any advise and tips please....
  12. Hi all. been a member for a number of years & never posted. I have enjoyed reading your posts over the years. I have SGC my own guns and insurance,I shot rabbits and crows but that was about 20 years ago.I would love to get back into it again. I'm heading to the perthshire area this weekend for two weeks.I know its short notice but if any one in the area is going shooting(rabbit pigeon etc) I would love to tag along if not to gain the experience,I make a good bacon butty
