i bought the medium sized slip over type for my baikal o/u, feels a lot more comfortable and about a 1/4 of the price to get 1 fitted by a gunsmith.

just wondering what kind of prices people pay to shoot 25 clays at different grounds ? ive been paying between £5 and £7 for 25, is this the average ? how much cost is reduced by joinin a club ?

not done any decoying myself (yet) but how how would a dead rabbit opened up next to the deeks go ? does ant 1 use that method ? i read it somwhere else but cant remember the result.

is there any pw memebers involved with any clubs in lanarkshire or ayrshire area's, espicially monklands or carnwath as these are closest to me, info on memebership, what days they shoot and disciplines greatly appreciated.

is there any way i can check if my gun is steel proofed ? its a bakail o/u ejector ( not sure of model ) also the barrels are chrome lined. cheers

hi all been a lurker for while, thought it was time to get involved, 27 years old from south lanarkshire, hunted with ferrets, lurchers and air rifles all my life, just getting in to shotgunning, got my ticket in december, and now own a 12g baikal o/u choked at 1/2 and full, getting plenty of practice in at the clays, before going for quarry, then hoping to do a days guided decoying to see how its done before trying for my own patch ! happy hunting all
