Hi, yes the half choke has been taken out to cylinder bye a preveous owner apparently this is not uncommon in some cases still shoots and pattens well

afternoon, uppon inspection it appeares that my 686 game gun witch is marked on the barrels as quarter and half choke, but the top barrle has been made into cylinder now why would someone want to do this? im not to worryed as the gun pattens well and not much is getting away if hit within normal distance but it puzzles me and could this affect value? thanks Dan

hi there i recently posted about barrel reblueing and harneser kindle pointed me in the direction off cooper sports in woodbastwich norfolk i had a chat with a man who was very helpful and when i asked weather it was blueing or blacking etc he said they do rust blueing, he said this will last years they charge £90 and will take about a week has anyone had experiance with rust blueing? my 686 is a 1986 gun and the barrels are a shiney blue but worn in patches hence the reason i want them redone, is rust blueing realy going to last and is it tough and durable? thanks dan
