I love Eley. I use Sport for target in my Anschutz (or Tennex if I'm feeling flush ) and Subsonic Hollow in my CZ452 for field work. Never mess me about, very accurate and very quiet.

Hi all. I have for sale my Magtech semi .22. It comes with 1 mag, sak mod, bipod and tasco 6x24x50 aoe scope with illuminated reticule. I would like £220 ish for the set up or £120 for just the rifle. I am after a varmint barrel CZ .22 so this one has to go to make a space on my ticket. It takes any ammo you care to throw at it. I've run Eley target, winchester, cci, and remmy through it without a single jam. Great set up for a good price. F2F preferred. Give me a shout with any questions. I've got an old 45 gallon oil drum sliced in half length ways with a piece of mesh on top. I even have a 8"x8" piece of steel plate bolted to it as a hot plate, works a treat. Charcoal or wood in there and it burns a treat. Best bit is I can leave it out all year, and when it rusts up too much I just get another drum. It's my favourite price, free

Hi all. I have a Parker Hale Bipod up for grabs, or at least that is what I have been told. It is in near new condition. I have a spigot for it that mounts on to a Weaver type rail. The bipod is the same as the one at http://www.fidelisfirearms.com/bipods.htm . It's a very sturdy bipod but a little to short for me. I would like a longer one that I can also use with a sling. Anyone fancy a swap at all? If not, I'm open to sensible offers. Bipod sold now. Thanks.

Nosler do a 100g tip in .243. Same as they use in Federal. Where's the fun in factory rounds? It is far more satisfying to load your own and watch something fall over. You know that you've taken your prey at 300 yards and it's all your own work. I like the V shocks but I want to make my own.

Hello everybody. I'm after some advice. I want to load some 100g ballistic .243 for deer stalking. I have the kit and have done .270 several years ago so am quite happy with the making as it were. What I would like are some ideas of bullet and powder combinations. Is there a particular powder that you would recommend or a good bullet. I would like something that is hard hitting but clean burning. My old Parker Hale likes a clean round, bless it. I've been using Federal V shock and would like to make my own version. Cheers

Hi all. I have 5 tyres of my Frontera for sale. They are 255/65r16. 2 are well worn but legal, 2 are about half worn, 8 mm approx and one is near new. They are all good to use, it's just that I fitted all terrains to my old beastie so they are in the garden annoying the wife. £50ish would be nice, I'm saving up for a gun lamp, but make me an offer.

HI all. I have a webley hurricane for sale. It's .22 calibre in great condition and shoots well, although I don't have the box. I got it to try and found I'm no good with a pistol. I would like £85ish including postage or would swap for a fixed barrel air rifle, (underlever, sidelever, something like that.). Sorry the picture is pants. I don't know why they have to use such long winded wording. Just a simple use this here and that there would do. It would be handy if I could go up the woods and practice with the target rifle, 'cos I do need it Mind you, it wouldn't half upset a few people at the club if I let the .243 off on the 25 yard indoor range! Might leave a few ears ringing and a bit of a hole in the backstop

22 rifle and mod to be used for vermin etc. Then it says the firearms and ammo shall be used for target shooting whilst a member of my club on ranges suitable for the safe use of that class of firearm and with insurance. To me that would also mean I could use my .243 at a range? I have shooting insurance anyway.

Here's an odd question for you. I have .22 target and sporting guns. Thing is, can I use the target gun on my permissions instead of the sporting? Just a thought that was floating round my so called mind.

I've never tried a HMR. I use a .22rf for bunnies and similar stuff, and .243 for foxes and upwards. Works for me.

Reminds me of a long day sat in a hide. Nothing doing after about 6 hours, so out of boredom/spite I let fly at a rook from 10 yards with a .270. Big bang, big cloud of ****/feathers, no more rook. Must admit though, it's not very sporting :blink:
