  1. I have bought other stuff off john pye please be very careful this auction may not be too bad as its all new stuff, but stuff I bought in the past was either not working or had lots of bits missing rendering it useless also when you bid with 10 seconds left it suddenly jumps to 3 minutes again to give other bidders more time its not like ebay the clock keeps going and going. Also rumour has it staff bid up the items as I have seen stuff sell that I was outbid on only to see it appear in the next auction the following week Read the reviews here https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.johnpye.co.uk before buying but please dont get carried away I was collecting some stuff and there was a massive row in one shed where a customer had paid for an Item as you have to pay before you are allowed to collect it and when he picked it up it was broken but he viewed it 3 days earlier and it was in good order lets just say the staff are not very careful with the items when moving them around

  4. Hi All I am after a scope for my new tikka t1x 22lr I have ordered and I have been looking at the hawke vantage and endurance and the mtc viper and mamba scopes second hand but as new condition But I have now been offered off another forum from a very nice sounding guy a older 1980 tasco 3-9 x 50 ag with japan optics for the same sort of money as a second hand hawke or mtc scope, the thing is I am unsure as to which way to go would a 35 year old tasco scope be as good as todays modern scopes from what I have read the tasco sounds a very good scope but has modern technology over took it I dont know so was hoping you lot would settle my mind At this moment in time my head is telling me to buy the older tasco but I looked through a nice hawke the other day in the gunshop and it was very clear indeed so I am so confused what would you do and why ?????????

  18. next door are very care full with their chickens and make sure they are locked away every night and when they are away we put them away for them I see your point though and I may have to explain this to my son, I might set my pop up hide up at the bottom of the garden and bait the field or try calling them in with my fox call, this will be a bit more of an adventure but I know swmbo will not want to do this so I will do it on my own with him only problem with this is I only have a cam corder and I don't think it will pick foxy up in the field as it will be too dark, I was hoping to use the light from my outside lights to be able to see any foxes that come onto the garden.
