Well had 3 farmers come back to me this week and been to see them all now so now have over 2000 acres to go at Various land to include winter rape with pigeons on it some 200 acres to be drilled with barley and maize in the next few weeks Last one just got back from today is a sheep and cattle farm which is a little gem about 450 acres with lots of rabbits and also a huge rookery of about 50 nests or so and loads of activity farmer is desperate for me to thin these out as he has three ponds and the rooks are eating the ducklings and he loves the ducks he has built homes for them on all the islands Lastly same farm has a rat issue round the sheds so will have some great fun with the nv wolf on my hw 100 on rats Can't believe what I have got in the last 7 days still grinning now can' wait to get started might go later to get some rooks Cheers

  19. Hi all I am just getting back into shooting after a lengthy break Question is I am right handed so shoot with gun in my right shoulder but I am left eye dominant so when I shoot with my left eye shut my gun is now point left of where I think it's pointing What are my best options here I have tried to shoot left handed and that is NEVER going to work would be better of putting the gun between my legs and using my toes So do I try to learn to shoot with both eyes open I could really do with some advise as don't know how to over come this issue or am I making too much of this but I need to get to the bottom of it Cheers Shawn

  23. looks like all the machinery is very modern and very new all shiny drills and 12 month old tractors etc so don't think there will be much wasted there is also a lot of woodland about and I have seen the birds going into roost so could be some sport there also been told I can go after the rabbits with my new rimfire and nv kit and also looking forward to putting squirrel feeders in the woods and getting the tree rats with the hw100 all seems to good to be true
  24. Got myself some new permission at the week end two farms totalling nearly 1000 acres One is planted with wheat and winter rape and has some pigeons on it when I was there on sat The other has about 100 acres that the farmer is going to sew spring barley and maize asap when fields are dry enough he said he will text me day before he starts and I can shoot as much as I like Never had a chance like this before just wanted any tips on shooting over drilled barley and maize which would be best option or Is it wait and see what the birds do Cheers
