Great guns, had mine 3 months, and no glitches in 500 rounds
And the most of those have been 28g loads, it a 3.5" gun

There was even a mention of the glorious twelfth on the one o'clock news

It's my Webley 812, 3' chambered. Steel shot proofed. I use it only for fowling. Usually use bismuth at the geese but 50carts just cost me £60 so im hoping to source some suitable steel.
I have the 912, 3". I believe the chokes are the same as on the 8 series. I use cyl and 1/4. The webley chokes don't appear to be nearly as strong as the inv+.

one more, you'd think they'd stop using that sitting tree

Vodka then naff rosé because it was cheap. Silly boy I am.
You fool

the maxus is rated for 3/4 choke with small steel, and 1/2 with large/high speed steel
If it's not a dedicated wildfowling gun, stick to 1/4

No real need, you'll strip the grease from the springs and pins if you immerse it in anything, old rag and wd40 will do the outer areas fine, use a cue tip if you want to scrape the crud from inside.
But unless it had a dunking in the sea, I wouldn't fuss

Try fenix, I have the LD20 (2 AA) and the TK15 (2 CR123)
The LD20 is a great work light, 180 lumens, wide spill, and good for 20+ meters with a red filter.
The TK15 is different beast, 337 lumens, big head throws a great beam. 100m easily with red filter, 200+ without. one inch diameter body allows it to be affixed to scopes easily (or 12b barrel ) I run it on 18650 rechargeable batteries, and it lasts for ages. You can even get a pressure switch for it
Not cheap, but well, well worth the money

what noise does a horny rabbit make? (to be blunt )

Browning do a lefty x bolt in .243

if you bought the gun sh, try the browning. If new, get the stock altered by a professional, it'll be cheaper
enjoy

He may also purchase or acquire ammunition for use with the rifle which should not
exceed the quantity which the certificate holder is authorised to have in his possession at that
time.
How does that work, it has to be signed onto the holders certificate

If you change your wheels, be sure to inform your insurance when you go to stick them on
-
leave them in the airing cupboard for a week or two, they'll be fine

I wouldn't be so sure.
tinnitus is permanent.
You don't get (permanent) tinnitus all of a sudden after one days shooting, it's like when you go to a concert and come home with ringing. It fades after a day or two, or more.

Lesson learned I used to play the drums as a kid and should have known better. I think I will get some shooters aid sonic plugs. Are these any good ?
Mixed reviews, some love them, others say they're too hard to be comfortable. I use "howard leight impact sport's" and find they work very well. Being able to hear the birds come from behind you is always a nice advantage to have
-
@shot shot ........****** hope this is temporary :(
You're suffering from acoustic shock, which should fade over a week or so. (I've been there btw)
Don't forget the plugs again!

I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but all damage to your hearing is PERMANENT! MPK is right, it's the small vibration sensing hairs in your ears that get damaged due to the loud noise, but they don't grow back or fix themselves. Every shot taken without ear defenders makes you a little more deaf. AND you can expect to suffer from tinnitus (constant ringing) in later life. So for goodness sake, protect your lugs!

Thats fast!
Mine will be away 2 weeks this wednesday.
I was only adding an air rifle though. So no need for land checks, or interview apparently
