  1. A nice pair of old english game bantam chicks there still only chicks but are of heat and at a guess 8 weeks old the cock is black/silver. the hen is ginger. BEEN WORMED £20 ONO Only selling as i have quite a few now and its getting beyond a joke the old man says  Located in winslow bucks.
  2. Its unuseal for them to draw blood there are loads of myths that give them bad press. If you get some kitts they will nip at first (all kits do) but with loads of handleing they will soon grow out of it. Of course its not adviseable to let children unsupervised near them or to poke fingers through wire. You might be best starting with 2 male (hob) brother ferret kits as they are slightly easyer to start with than the jills (females) as they go in season in spring and summer and need taking out of season or they can get infections and sometimes can die from this. http://www.britishferretclub.org.uk/ This should help you out.
  3. Myself and mates will be restarting ferreting in about october for the coming season we are useally ferreting most weekends so know a fair bit. Just thought id see if theres anything going ready for this winter as my permissions soon get thinned down of rabbits. I dont mind just a few days sport or a whole seasons worth we stop in march. Feel free to pm me if anythings going. Locally in buckinghamshire or nearby. Many thanks.
  4. Same as what every one else said, its best to have a big hutch as good workers idealy should be kept fit so i recomend hutches with plenty of room with different levels or with runs bennif you can put tubes in for them to run through. Make sure you keep them is a cool shadey area and dont use chicken wire if you making a hutch as they can chew it also id say put some decent locks on it. Id use wood shaveings and shredded paper as good cheap bedding and litter. Give them as much handleing and interaction as possable as what you put it is what you get out keep them clean and healthy. Keep some flea and tick spray on hand as they pick up a few after ferreting trips. Feed them eigher raw meat or dry ferret/cat biscuits.
  5. My old man uses wd40 it suffercates the mites you can buy thuis scally leg spray from cox and robinsons ect but is about £6 and abit hit and miss it needs doing about every 5/6 days to break up the cycle mean while clean the coup and perches with jeyes fluid hope this helps.

  22. Yes you dont keep them and clearly arent keen on them, so whats with all the pointless comments trying to give ferrets bad press and disscourageing people from keeping them
  23. Actully, Provideing there probly looked after and handled regularly they will never bite. As for the smell if there nuetered they dont smell at all also you dont have to worry about the jills getting infections when in season ect.
