use Crow shells mate like said above there a right pain to carry and take a load ov room up .......

.......sorry it made it run alot slower and the batt drained alot quicker .......

Hi mate mine seems to last longer in the summer months i only get 3 hours in the cold off a full charge batt i tryed a new batt but no change so i just put it down to weather .My mate had the same problem a few years ago but what he done woz made the wire alot longer into the hide and that made it slow down and run alot slower apart from that matey i havnt a clue

He is mate i talked to him for a while at one of the gamefairs and found him a sound chap.

There is a starter kit on ebay matey it will get you out on the field and you can add more as you go along .I always find buying bits and dabbs costs you more in the long run or like some one said above look for second hand .Im always buying and trying diffrent things to see if they work better anyway lol.The one thing i am finding works realy well is the foam wings on a decoy with a bouncer but use fishing line tied to the end of the bouncer and on to the decoy have it about 3ft long it looks realy good in the wind i use four and it pulls them in realy well .I only brought one set of foam wings the others i made out of laminate underlay foam what i had left over i also make the crow wings out of it .sorry for banging on so much lads and going off the topic a bit but try it out it works well....

I love shooting crows in the fog mate i find you get more come to the call and you dont have to camo up so much.Everytime its foggy now im out calling crows and getting me own back for when you only have to blink the wrong way on a clear day to turn them away .

Chris greens pigeon shooting the whole storie ....You dont learn a lot but the bit where he works out how much the pigeons eat and counts the grain from one pigeons crop then works it out over all ...I found that intresting plus it helped me gain permision with a farmer i was trying to shoot over his land he kept saying no they dont bother me that much so the next time i bumped in to him i kept the dvd in my bag and said here you watch that when ya get time lol.The following saturday i bumped into him again he said you wouldnt belive that would ya i said no he said theres a few flying over the far field if i wanted to have a pop at um lol ..i said yes please and now iv been shooting his land for the last two years lol. ..Ow and no i never got the dvd back but it was worth losein...

Hi ya lads i took the dog today and she was fine my son let a few shots off she didnt bat a eye so i walked around 30 yards from the hide and he let rip again still no problem.So i got her in the hide waited for some birds to come in two hours later still no sighn of anything flying so i just had to see what she would be like right next to me i shot two in the air and she never moved didnt bother her at all she realy enjoyed her self i just wished i could have shot some birds for her to see what she made of it.Iv never seen it so bad not even a crow lol but its got me going now im off again in the morning to try again its cost me around £3 in chicken treats tho lol but well worth it Im just going to keep at it now and see how it goes just glad shes not gun shy.Thanks again for all your info... Thanks guys for your info im going to take her with me and my son tomorrow for the first time and il walk her across to another field while my son shoots a few times and see if i can slowly walk back up to the hide and see what her response is. She is doing great on the retrieve with a ball and she sits and waits great my daughter had already learnt her all these things.So i have just got to see what shes like with the gun fire she dont make any fuss with the fire works going off so thats given me a bit of hope .Anyway il keep you all posted on how she gets on for the first time tomorrow and thanks again to all that replied ALB...fuggy...

Hi guys i have a pet cocker she is my daughters dog and is two year old .She has never been shooting with me or even heard a shotgun go off the question i have is she to old to try and train her i only want her for pigeon shooting so nothing to hard in the field .My daughter has started college now and has not got so much time as she would like with her so im thinking of taking her with me on my days out on the pigeons .The other question i have where would i start should i just take her and sit her in the hide to let her see what its all about and try and bring her on from there or start her at home with a starter pistol and to get her to pick up and bring back a dead bird first .Sorry to sound so thick about it all but i have never trained a shooting dog before and everytime i look on the net for info its always saying you must start your dog off at a very young age .Like i say the dog has only been a pet and never done anything at all in the field before and i think we could have some nice long enjoyable days out if i could train her to pick up and bring back for me and not be frightened of the gun .Any advise given will be much appreciated thanks to who ever replies ...ALB fuggy....
