  1. Get another one asap, it helps everyone get over it, including the remaining dog. I watched the fawn Lurcher, Taz, search for his mate for a few days, even took off to their local haunts looking for him, but when Fleur arrived he settled and stop crying and searching. Dave B
  2. Had to have a Lurcher, Chance, put down last year, broke my heart and I am 6ft 4" and had a hard life playing rugby....lol: In the end I couldn't do it and my father in law took him in into the vets for me, a very sad day for me. So I know how you feel. BUT then came along a lovely little bitch, Fleur, the brindle one: So as much as I miss Chance, Fleur is a 'God send', to me and my young son, even the wife like's her ....lolol All three were rescues and turned into super dogs. Dave B
  3. I feel your emotions..... What can on eman do ? As my old dad used to say, 'they are all in it for themselves', do you know what, he was right. Dave B
  4. What about LPG and diesel vehicles, has that technology progressed at all ? Dave B
  5. 'You're gonna go straight to hell for that one......' Dave B
  6. Hi, It is a .22 cal sidelever, tap loading, tube fed air rifle. It is quite unusual and a bit of a 'marmite' gun, you either love 'em or hate 'em. Looks like no one loves this one.....lol Dave B

  12. Hi, I am having a bit of a clearout to fund something quite different, so here's a superb condition Air Arms Firepower, definitely a collectors item rather than a 'hunting tool'. It wouldn't be for sale if I had not found something that I really want....lolol It also comes with a package of spares including new mainspring, piston washer, trigger and some screws. Well, price wise this one is difficult, lets start at offers around £275 and I woul dprefer collection but will post at buyers cost. The base lined box is also for sale if anyone is interested. Dave B
  13. Hi, I'm in West Yorks and it is a single shot, not sure if you can get a multishot conversion. I may be interested in a 12g if anyone has one to trade. Dave B

It come complete with the scope a Tasco 3-9x40 E illuminated Nato reticule and also the pictured adaptor and silencer. It is .22 flavour and fitted with sling swivels. The stock has been refinished but is in very good ocndition and looks well as can be seen in the pics. Also has lens covers and fill cover, not pictured. Asking price is £225 or very close offers may be considered, plus postage if required. Cheers Dave B

  16. Hi, I have a 55 plate Aventura, have had it just over a year and it is superb. Cannot fault it, I have a snug top with side opening windows so the dogs can travel in the back. I took some advice and fitted a K&N filter and a power chip to take it to 200 bhp, it pulls much better and the fuel consumption is now very good 36 mpg on a long run and 32 mpg around town. I would not replace mine with anything else at the moment. I have heard the newer model for some reason is not as economical, and I do more servicing than quoted by Nissan, 18,000 miles between services is too long fo rme although it does take a reasonable amount of oil.
