  1. Hire Nick Freeman aka Mr Loophole......Or take the hit on the fixed penality and points....I understand most insurers expect drivers to have points these days Mark
  2. Greetings from St Albans...Enjoy yourself and have fun..... Mark
  3. I can easily get through a box of 52 gram cartridges in a few minutes and not really feel too battered after doing so.......Standard 28s are good as well, and basically i shot a 391 as well prior to this and prefer the Benelli everytime... Mark
  4. I've got one, had it a month and love it.....Bought it at park st guns in st albans. Is there anything particular you'd like to know? I've had no problems with it, stevie wonder could clean it, its completely fool proof to strip and cycles just about anything that I've put through it..... Worth the dosh IMHO Mark
  5. Gixer, Greetings from st albans, i'm up broomhills myself at least once a week, so if you fancy meeting up let me know.. Mark

  7. naah can't be mate, I dont claim for my cartridges on expenses ;-> M
  8. I've only got the supersport and shoot at Broomhills about twice a week usually. I have not had any bad reactions, but for some people it is like marmite, you either love it or hate it.....I understand the safety issue that some people see but any gun is only as safe as the person thats handling it..... I may just for the experience enter the berretta world with the supersport, of course only using 2 shots more for the experience...its another outing ;-> Mark
  9. Nice shooting cat.....First ever comp, got 52 in class c......for me it was just good I got at least something on every stand, and an 8 on the two rabbits at once stand....... Only been shooting a few months.... Mark
  10. Same gun as I've got, cracking bits of kit....Highly recommended......Didnt see any pump users there....It was just good to have full use of the gun and 3 shots.... Mark
  11. The rabbit stand towards the back was fun, actually managed all bar one of them and the 3 teal at once were a laugh......Couple of them where amusing in the wind as well......will book again for next year for sure if they do it.... Liked the whole feel at west london in general, think I may have to pay it a visit one weekend... Mark
  12. Well I didn't come last, got about 55 ish out of 120, but more than anything, nice crowd, challenging course for a beginner such as myself but hours of fun......and not an under and over in sight ;->
  13. I agree with Nick, it also puts people at a little more ease if the gun is in the case....A new shooter myself, I'm trying to ensure that I sleeve the gun whilst pointing it away from everyone to give people a bit more confidence......... In general, you can have loads of rules, but education is the key...
  14. Nick, It keeps the mrs out of the shops as shes coming with me.......... ;-> If you fancy it, I'm going in the afternoon.... Mark
  15. I've just bought a Benelli Supersport in carbon black and its a fantastic gun, hasnt missed a beat so far with nearly 500 carts through it in two sessions Mark
  16. MaybeiIts a posh wooden spoon........I've entered for the afternoon... Never shot in a competition before, in fact only been shooting 9 months, doing this for fun more than anything...Anything I should be aware of?? M
  17. Complete novice and only picked up my benelli two days ago but been having a good session or two with it and thought more for the experience I might give this ago......never entered a competition in my life.... Just wondered if anyone has done this before or is going.... Any tips appreciated.... I'm probably completely bonkers, but I can think of worse ways to spend a saturday afternoon :-> Mark
  18. yes, I have lessons with Terry...Nice chap... If you fancy a trip to either broomhills or LVSA let me know, I picked up 1000 eleys today at Park st but will be putting a slab through the new gun on sunday hopefully ;-> Mark
  19. Been "lurking" for a while but bought my Benelli Supersport today from Park St Guns (thanks to them for all their help, highly recommend them). I've been having a few 1-2-1 lessons up at Broomhills and my interests are Clays and probably any rough shooting I can lay my hands on... Best wishes Mark
