Selling my father in law's 22LR, I'd love to keep it but I don't have the slot or the space! Its a BSA Supersport 5 complete with magazine and a scope (just a cheap 3-9 jobby, optics are clear though) - lovely condition and the blueing is great. Be a great little bunny gun or for someone to get into shooting on the cheap. £100 ono nr. Basingstoke, Hampshire

Ridgeline 54' rifle slip/sniper drag bag & Lightforce RMSM 140
roundy replied to Monkey Nuts's topic in Other Sales
Hey dude, would you consider reducing this price as they are currently available for £99.95 at Optics Warehouse....? https://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/product/ridgeline-tactical-sniper-drag-bag/ -
I was looking at one if these the other day, can you drop the power output then? As even when coded onto PMR channels for license free in the UK they put out waaaaay too much power....

Just upgraded my cabinet so now have this surplus to requirements! It's one of these but in black, lovely starter cabinet; http://www.leighsafes.co.uk/specialoffers2.php?p=53 Really just want it gone, 40 quid, collection from Tadley, Hampshire

Tell me about it!! Lifted from HantsPol site; Renewals: We look to renew all certificates prior to their expiry. A temporary permit will be issued if this cannot be achieved. (Providing your application is received at least 8 weeks before expiry). Grants: Our current processing time for grant application is 20 weeks but we are working hard to reduce this. Variations: Our current processing time for all types of variations is six to eight weeks. I might drop her a reply saying thanks for the info, quote the above and CC' the PCC - you hear nothing but complaints of delay from Hampshire :-(

HantsPol received my variation on the 11/4/16 (and cashed the bloomin cheque on the 24/4/16!) and I'd not heard a dicky bird - so I dropped them a line, here is what I had back; Unfortunately due to high volumes of applications for variations I am unable to give a timescale for the completion of your variation application at this time. Please trust that I am working my way through all the applications at present and please accept my apologies for the delay. Your application was received on the 11.4.2016 and I am currently dealing with applications received on the 11.3.2016. If you have not heard within one month then please come back direct to myself for a further update. Kind regards Karen Brown Firearms Administration Officer So two months so far....frustrating considering a work colleague of mine has just had a grant from Surrey completed in the same time window!?!

I thought it would be a 700 series, just can't figure out the chokes from the markings. With 30" barrels would that make it the trap model?
-
Evening all, Had my Parker Hale for a couple of years but never really figured out what model it is. Thought the chokes were 1/2 and 3/4 but now after some research I am not so sure. The top barrel has the marks XXX /\ on it but the lower has nothing. From the proof marks etc. I can see that its a 1982 gun, and the proof house was Gardone & Brescia. She has a single selective (gold plated) trigger and 30" barrells. Pretty sure its a Franchi. Serial number is 4172551 if anyone has an amazing list of PH shotguns lol Thanks guys!

Someone told me the other week at Happy Valley what the Popham schedule was, but I've forgotten :-) Is it on this Sunday or am I best going down to Chalky Hill in Medstead? Bit of a trek for me being the other side of Tadley but it looks a good shoot.

Try Test Valley Sporting Guns in Oakley - the chap that runs it is a bit eccentric but rather old school and seems to know his onions. When I first got my SGC he helped me out and I bought a second Hand Parker Hale from him, I had more money to spend and he could of taken it but he found the right gun for me instead.

Interesting....have just checked my cert and all it states is .22 Rifle confused!! Can't believe it would be lawful for me to go out and buy a .22 centrefire?!?
-
Perfect, i am in Baughurst! Will PM you now!

I wonder what is listed on the National Firearms Licensing Management System ? For example if your application stated .22LR like mine and that is recorded, but the cert arrived with .22rf - could it just be standard categories the certs have? I think I emailed my FEO a while ago about the very same thing and he came back with it was only .22LR as that was what I applied for. But again, interesting argument on it being a legal document etc...
