    Yob Seekers

Very true, when i left many years ago with a bit of cash behind me i decided to have a couple of months doing as i pleased before getting a job. Unfortunately a few years later i was unemployed and when i signed on found out i was unable to claim anything as during those couple of months off, i hadn't been paying my stamp.

Have you tried spraying the area with " raid " kills just about everything out there. It leaves a covering and anything that touches it dies. Can be bought in most supermarkets and its not expensive.

  14. I wouldn't worry about his crazy plan that much, what worries me is that the guy actually owns a gun.
  15. Something like 5 years for armed tresspass if memory serves me right, the attitude of just helping yourself imo is what makes farmers so reluctant to let genuine blokes access to there land. Some poachers show total disregard to property and perhaps some landowners may tar the decent and the not so decent with the same brush, can hardly blame them really. edit this might make him think twice Statute Law The Penalties for breaking current UK firearms laws with Airguns are as follows:- Carrying a loaded Air-weapon in a public place 6 months imprisonment and / or £5,000 fine. Possessing or using an air weapon if sentenced to 3 months or more in custody 3 months imprisonment and / or £2,500 fine. In addition if original sentence up to 3 years 5 year ban on use of firearms. Or if for 3 years or more Life ban on use of firearms. Killing or injuring any bird or protected animal unless authorised £5,000 fine. Firing an air weapon within 15m / 50ft of a public highway £1,000 fine. Selling or hiring air weapon or ammunition to person under 17 6 months imprisonment and / or £5,000 fine. 17. I never got round to asking her where it was when she told me there was someone shooting it, i am going to give her another call tommorow about things. I live in Carlisle, originally from a village just outside Penrith where shooting was plenty, others have that now though so trying to set myself up round this way but a lots taken.

  19. Looking for some permission for shooting rabbits, pigeons and crows in the cumbria/sw scotland area. Mailed all the local farms a while back and knocked on a few doors and so far no luck. ideally would like to do a bit of rough shooting on it to work my dog. Col
  20. Hats off to Cumbria Constabulary then........Interview tuesday, got SGC today.
  21. I got this from another forum some time back and gave it a go, smell isn't to overpowering but obviously the midges dont think so, it was clear to see there was a good six inch no fly zone around my dog. Just stick it in a spray bottle, no real need to spray there head, rub it into your dogs coat then lightly wipe your hands over face and ears. Mix 2 teaspoons Plush Puppy Seabreeze oil ( dare say another coat oil would do but this is supposed to work the best according to the bloke who gave me the recipe) 1 cup of water 4 drops of citrus oil, 2 drops of peppermint 2 drops of lavender and 2 drops of sandal wood oil.
