  3. If you could buy all of these new {minus the mk1 box of course} you would be looking at around £340 + postage if you don't live close enough to the shop. Mk 1 boxes with collar fetching over £100 on flea bay So your looking at around £440 min without postage [inclusive with the cost of 3 ferrets} Why try and derail his thread
  4. Hi Chard If you go to www.surgerydoor.co.uk and in the centre of the page you will see headings for Mind, Food,Injury compensation and then Medication. Underneath Medication it says more in blue click on that and then use the dropdown menu and go to digestion. This will then give you a comprehensive list of over the counter antacid remedies. It lists most of what has been suggested here.It also tells you the active ingredients for each product. You will have to look through them as not all are for indigestion. My recommendation would be Dewitts in powder form. HTH

  8. Hello Big Dog Mine will obviously be a biased answer. I recently lost my boy Brock to osteosarcoma he was also my first dog but boy what a dog. I did find him reasonably easy to train but i think most of it was his ability rather than mine. We did the same decoying, wildfowling, ferreting, peg dog and beating as well. Don't get me wrong he wasn't perfect and had as many faults as well as good points. He had amazing stamina in the beating line and just never knew when to stop. He retrieved all fur and feather on land and water. He could also be a bit of a wimp at times. As for a house dog i doubt i will have another dog like him. When people came in he would walk up say hello and just lay down in the middle of the room or lay across peoples feet. I have got another GSP and at six months he is retrieving off land and water comes back to whistle is used to the gun and now we are just starting on the heel work. This one is harder work than my old boy as he's a bit boisterous at times but he's getting their slowly. But as browning says lots of excercise and mental stimulation. You will not get a more effectionate or loyal dog imo. But like i said my opinion is biased. Don' discount all the other wonderfull breeds out their that are equally as capable or even better. I do know of a chap in Belturbet Co Cavan who keeps liver and white ticked Gsp's i could try and rake his number out if you wwant he may be able to help.
  9. You could try a ceramic tile drill bit but as magman said very slowly and gently

  11. You can buy stripping knives for about six quid
  12. I usually cover the tick with dog flea shampoo using a small artists brush. That soon gets rid. Also bought a Tic o Tom remover the other month a doddle to use.
  13. Hello John Some good shooting there. I see in your sig your from Galway. My sister used to live in Salt Hill in the 70's. I spent my whole summer hols their one year.Only a kid of 14 at the time thought i was in heaven.Cried my eyes out when i had to leave. They lived near the harbour. It was the first time i had picked up a shotgun i spent hours in the fields round the back of my sisters it was so remote. Never picked another gun up till about seven years ago. I went their for my hols year before last and couldn't believe the amount of building work that has gone on in the area. Where my sister used to live you can now spit and reach the next house. Progress Was still in heaven though. I can still taste the bulmers over ice sat outside Kitty Oshea's and picture the view across the bay. GOD if your listening please let me win the lottery Saturday night.
  14. My 2p worth I haven't posted on here much at all but have enjoyed the site and found many of my answers using the search button. Most of my few posts have been car related. Not having been into the field sport side of things long compared to many of you, my first impressions were of a flap cap green wellie brigade. How wrong can you be. I love my shooting, ferreting, and fishing but am also into motor sports. I sometimes play a little g##f. And to be able to come onto a site like this and find such a diverse range of topics blows the whole stereo typical vision people have of people that use sites like these clean out of the water. I think this makes the site a much more interesting place to visit and stops it from getting stale and boring.
  15. Cracking looking Cocker. How old is he/she.

    New Car Mats

Your right Pin They do get overlooked and sometimes a brake upgrade a decent suspension set up can make a car quicker in and out of the twisties. Not sure if any upgrades are available for the rs, allthough i would have thought the ones on this car should be up to a bit of a power upgrade on the car.

You gotta get it out on track If it was my car { dreams } i would join an Audi or VW club and go on one of their club only days. Where they book a track for the day and and it is just the cars in the club allowed on track on the day. These club days are good for newbies as people tend to have a bit of respect for each other on track. You can also pay an instructor at the track to take you round for a lap or 2. Open pit days with any cars allowed on can be extremely dodgey. Get the Milltek you know you want to full monty, race manifold, decat. I like spending peoples money for them Let us know the outcome when you wup your mate in the beemer

    New Car Mats

You really need the rubber ones with flames on them, £9.99 from Halfords. But to be really chavtastic you need the macthing mud flaps. Looking cupraman. Did you have the mats made at autostyle uk. Car is awsome. You say it's not standard wasn't 450 ponies under the bonnet enough Would like to know what tuning work you have had done. Had it out on track yet. As for going up against the new m5 i don't think their would be that much in it. I think a good driver the the rs would beat an average driver in the beemer.
