I went for Anschutz 17hmr & Sako quad heavy barrel synthetic 22lr both guns brilliant. The wood stock Sako is much heavier thats why i went synthetic I have put 1000 rounds through sako so far in 1 month i have owned it and never had ejection problem yet but i purchased it new. Finnfire gun is still a good gun but you can pick up a used quad without much use as they are relatively newish guns. regards

got up early for some reason today, (maybe because of alcohol dehydration from last night) and went out for a couple hours this morning, managed 12 pigeons and 1 fox !!! plus is was cracking sunny weather to top if off, couldnt ask for more At one point a flock of about 100 pigeons flew over, i have never seen so many in one group, the sky was black with flapping rats A great start to 2010 already !!!

I went to buy the Deben one off ebay and instead found an equivalent brand new Harris one for £10 less so i opted for Harris. It came today and its a genuine proper HArris all brand new and sealed, well pleased, no more balancing rifles on the other halfs fluffy cushions

That is spooky Les, i just read your reply then 2 minutes later received an email from national lottery to say i had won £10 last night !!!!! scary I will wear the enchanted - magic suit next time i choose the numbers maybe it will produce better results !!! I will invest the £10 in tonights alcoholic tradition
