  1. Cens Digital they are the dogs ******* expensive but you only get one chance to protect your hearing. They also amplify sound so great for rough shooting. Geoff
  2. Cheers beretta do you think it would be ok to strip it down and clean the trigger mech or is it a gunsmith job Geoff
  3. I have a Beretta 682 gold e it's about 2 years old and every so often I get funny trigger pull. It can happen on the first or second barrel. It difficult to explain but it feels twice as hard to pull and a bit grindy, like metal on metal. It happens very intermittentley, I shot 200 birds at the Essex Masters and it didn't happen, I shot 50 today and it happened 3 times. Anyone had the same problem. Cheers Geoff

  5. I have been trying to get a second hand adj stock for my 682gold e, to no avail. I have contacted GMK and they want £650.00 for a new stock so that a no then. So my next option is to have my gun converted. Will doing this devalue my gun, and does anyone have anyone to recommend to complete the work in the Essex area. Many thanks Geoff
  6. Hi Phill, That's exactly what I needed cheers phill. I live in Corringham and I off on the 1st May so Iwill defo be coming. I usually shoot ETL's in Tilbury, so it good to try new grounds/setup. Thanks for taking the time to reply cheers Geoff
  7. I shot the Essex master this year and really enjoyed it. I would like to get my CPSA classification so I can track my progress "or not" and start entering comp against people of equal standard. Its not that I think I will win anything I just enjoy the competitive side of it. I have done some searching and apart from the major comps there seem to be a lack of registered event in my area. I live in Essex and don't mind traveling a sensible distance to events. So my asks is, what CSPA registered sporting events are there within a sensable travel distance of essex "1-2hrs" of Essex. Cheers Geoff
  8. Sorry Wheelnut I am only after the adj stock not the gun itself. sorry for any confusion.

  9. Thanks HDAV will give them a look Geoff
  10. I am after a 682gold e adj stock, right handed. or know where the best place to look for one. I have been on guntrader but no joy, and the price GMK want I could buy a new gun. This is for the stock only not the full gun. Many thanks Geoff
  11. Many thanks for all your replies, you have given me alot to think about. I think my first port of call will be a lesson on a pattern plate to see where i am shooting before a touch the comb/cast. I will let you all know how i get on Geoff
  12. I am left eye dominate and a right shoulder shooter. I have a patch on my glasses. Thanks for the advice regarding the lesson.
  13. I borrowed one of those arrow laser shots from a friend as my scores have been below par lately. I measured out about 16 yards and attached a piece of paper on my gate with a large black dot in the center. I mounted the gun and fired the laser and was 3" low and about 4" to the left. I remounted half a dozen times with the same result. Now I don't know what to do and I wish I had left well alone. Has anyone used one and how should you interpret the result. Now I am thinking I need to raise the comb and increase the cast. Are the any instructors on here who could give me some advice. I have a 682 gold e. Many Thanks Geoff
  14. I agree, i am leaving the woodies alone until it warms up. i think they are under enough pressure with the weather. cheers Geoff
  15. I shoot with both eyes open. I have a small piece of scotch tape on my glasses over my left eye as I am cross dominate. It works well for me, i don't even notice it is there now. Hope that helps Cheers Geoff
  16. I have one of the light weight hypa flapper rotary from our site sponsor. Not cheap but very light and works a treat. You can also get a discount as a PW member. Geoff
  17. I use an old fishing rucksack for my deeks and cart etc, and a quiver rod holdall which is a 3/4 size of a normal holdall for all my poles bouncer rods and pigeon magnet. You can pick them up very cheap on flea bay. regards Geoff
  18. This maybe a silly question, does any know what the black screw on the top of the motor on the hypa flapper rotary sold by our site sponsor is for. Cheers Geoff P.S well worth the money, and the pigeons seem to love it..
