  4. I was in the SADF, and my kids know I single handedly won the war :P:P

Seriously I was in the REME in Namibia for a long while. After I left it always amased me how many "Walts" would tell me they were SAS etc. Problem was they would even do it in uniform with insignia of DLO and the likes on them.

It's a truley international problem!

Dont forget that as a member of the SAS if you where killed you was RTU and was killed in action as your trade not as being a member of the SAS.

And in recent years there has been a big increase in squadron numbers at striling lines .

  5. So boys and girls after the race Buttion said schuhey was clever in his defence of the postion.

Now he has changed his tune and said he <schuhey> was blocking etc an I missing the point that F1 your racing each other.

Do some of the new boys think that others should pull over and wave them pass .

I know schuhey is not the most popular bloke but come on.

    Regards OTH

  6. I servied with 4624 squadron as a mover in op telic loaded lots of gucci gear RM SBS boats etc.

I was there one week and another SAS chap was there just returned to hereford after being shot in ghan he had scares from his left foot across his body too his right shoulder.

    Regards OTH

  7. I know one thing they can not inforce you to stay on site if they are not paYing you fact.

How many days do you work 4 on 4 off if your working a five day week at 12 1/2hrs a day say you only want to work 48 hours .

48 hours is the most they can contrat you too unless sign the euro waver .

    Kind regards OTH

  8. When money is tight and jobs are uncertain its obvious where people are going to cutback. However, in real terms cartridges have never been so cheap in terms of what they cost in comparison to incomes or say the price of a loaf of bread or a pint of milk.

Ten years ago I was buying a 1000 6s of fibre wad cartridges for £78 from SCATS last 1000 wast near £138 for same 28grams 6s.

    Regards OTH

  9. i am not going to get into a argument with you .the lad blowing jaws and windpipes out should not be shooting. heart and lung shots i have witnessd i dont like run ons and finding the deer heavin for breath no thank you. i kill out right with the back of head there is no part of the back of the head that will be removed and leave a deer standing running etc .a well placed shot by a confident shooter i dont pull the trigger unless i am 100% safe on the shot or placement .as i said i dont collect trophys so a rack can go in the shot does,nt matter to me the welfare of the animal matters more to me clean KILL. respect your quarry atb noel

So going what you have said you must have a 100% kill ratio on one of your replys you said I either have a clean kill or clean miss how do you know 100% your shot will go cleanly over or to side of the head not below eg the jaw etc.

I am not having a go just intrested as you may have a very good reason for your view that I have not been aware of.

I have thought about trying to shoot head shots myself but for a manner of reason always go for the standard heart lung shot as recommended by BASC.

    Kind regards OTH

  10. so we have a new leader/leaders in number ten .what for the ordinary working fella with wife and kids now then?

Well labour lined the pockets of anybody who could produce children and not afford to keep them thereselves.

So I hope the tories put a stop to me and other tax payer paying for others to have children .

    Regards OTH

  11. I think in pigeon shooting terms there alot less pigeon shooting going on for two reasons one lack of birds to shoot at.

And the other in this part of m4 corridor alot of buiders are pigeon shooters and with lack of work has eqauled lack of cash to buy cartridges .

I live within 10 miles of just cartridges and charles does seem not be keeping as much stock I dont why but my guess is there the turnover at the moment is low for many factors .

    Just my five eggs OTH

  12. Just out of intrest do you guys have the same trailer towing rules over there as us in england wales scotland etc.
