Went for drive around some of my permission yesterday and stopped counting half a dozen pigeons in total. I can remember when there would be flocks of hundreds or more but not any more. Something has changed their habits could it be amount of shooting or habitat or just a change in their diet.

Hi all, What a post, lots of different opinions,the fores and the against. There's one thing for sure once they have all been shot you cant shoot them twice. The last thing i want is to read in years to come if only we had . Personally i'm for a closed season at the moment,and review it when the numbers are back.

Hi mate I have just spoke to WYFL and they say , Under age shooters do not need to have license As long as they are land shooting vermin whith A license holder with permissions to be there If they whant to go to a clay shooting ground The ground has to have a special permit for none License holders. Hi All Yea i agree, there is more buzards about but they are littel slow for a fit woody, Now the female spar she can come to terms with a fit woody and spars have been In good numbers for a long time, Any rappter will spook a flok of feeding birds, i have seen spars take out a woody in a flok and the others have just flown around and come back.
