its a small rifle but wow what a good feeling rifle and with that .17hmr thats plenty for me

went down my local gun shop to have a look at the rifles and i didnt know that they were that small l haha i know its a small cal but come on.im 6 ft and built like a tank could carry it in my pocket.back to my looking at rifles....i had a hold of all types but the one i liked the most was the CZ 452 SILHOUETTE for i think it was 375 quid 40 quid for a silencer and 60 quid for the bi pod .the feel of it was just perfect the weight and the action and the feel of the bolt was just so smooth and crisp.so ive made my mind up going for the CZ 452 SILHOUETTE hopefuly in .17hmr .but got to play the waiting game now tho sent all my forms off and my refs called me to say that they sent their parts off

whats the reason for it free floating barrel ?

by the way done both ref forms for my fac done my form should be all sent off this week..just one little thing tho do i send off all the photos my self if so wups cuase i left them with my refs will it be a big problem ive got 2 and the refs have got one each signed and dated liked they should be but surly they will understand what i done?

sorry asked this before but where do i write i want a silencer with mny rifle?

i would buy few metal mags .22lr or 17hmr depends on what i get mate but untill i get a cz 452 rifle i cant but when i get my rifle i will msg you i am very intrested

why dont they make the barrels mil grade i mean the metal is not the same as rifles made years ago they are to thin take the .308 after 2 shots when you fire the 3rd its off by a a fair bit as in terms of grouping

right so im after my 1st rifle and im new to rifles and tricks of the trade so to speak.first question is is it true the longer the barrel the more accuracy you get at distance i dont mean stupid long but i seen barrels on the cz rifles are very short and a lot of other types are also short so would it be worth getting a longer barrel of what ever rifle i get and version i get? second question is the power linked with barrel lenth do you get more power with a longer barrel or does it cuase to much drag on the bullet if the barrel is to long?and i heard that todays barrles heat up after only 2 shotsand the 3rd is all over the place. is this only on the large cal rifles say the .308 .223 ? and im very intrested in the cz can anybody give me some happy storys with the cz 452 version ? i love the look of the CZ 452-2E ZKM SILHOUETTE cracking rifle hope to get it in .22lr or .17hmr or both

mmm it seams to me a tricky area between a .22lr and a .17hmr lots of grey areas but i wlll just have to go with what the firearms officer wants and im happy with that but i think i would still have the .22lr its plenty of power for what i want and the ranges i will be shooting at but if i ever wanted to have a .17 hmr then i always can if i had the option.

its asking if i have ever held a shotgun cert before but this is the 1st time what should i put..shoud i give the one ive got now

so ive got my fac form now lads just asking ... its says give details of firearms in your possesion at the time of this application...well ive got shotguns so do i put them in ? and then it asks give details of ammo at the time of this application...do i put what shotgun shells i have ? or are these questions only asking about rifles and rifle ammo?

ive got a safe that has a built in ammo box thats fine and it wll fit a bolt well i think a .22lr will do me just fine just will have to look what my gun shop has they have loads of everything.

well 100yds is plenty for me but i dont mind the .17 hmr what sort of ftlb does the 22lr and the 17 hmr have at 100yds would it still be more than say 50 ftlb

well i will have to wait untill the police say what im allowed but where i go a guy goes up there some times i know him its all legal.. hes got a .223 so i dont think i should have any probs with a .17hmr but i just want a good idea what i should be looking at

but what make tho im not to picky i just want something that works well and i can trust every time i fire it.

hi all havnt been on here in a while hows every one doing....right so i got my shotgun cert about 3 mounths ago and now i want my fac ive got land ive got permission ive got a reason for wanting a rifle just waiting for the forms to come should be here this week.but i cant chose a rifle.its going to be a .22lr or a .17 hmr what ever one the police see fit for vermin shooting.i have looked at the cz rifles they look good and i havnt heard a bad word about them.but i have no clue on prices of rifles im looking for a rifle between 200 and 450 quid any good rifles please tell me also what sort of power does those 2 cals have say at 50 and 100 m
