  4. Got stung down the **** crack a couple of weeks back, 2 days later got stung in the armpit and the dog got stung on the ****! A week later I was guiding someone Salmon fishing and disturbed a nest- 4 stings, one on the throat, another in the armpit and two on the forearm. Poor dog got stung on the nose- she's gone right off fishing now. Think she'll be relieved to get out on the foreshore. Unfortunately our club (Weymouth) doesn't start till the 1st of October- gutted!
  5. Is this still available? I have a 686 sportier - 3 years old, light use fixed choke 1/2 and 1/4. Its a nice gun but i do prefer a lighter SBS Please PM me if you're still interested Cheers

well, if the birds are few and far between i look forward to doing alot of exploring. Its more about being out there for me. Our local marsh is not a place to shoot numbers but is an amazing place and anything shot is a bonus!
  8. Being new to wildfowling (2nd Season) i find this section really interesting, being in Dorset its a fair way from some of the better known spots but still a cracking part of the country. There are not birds in great numbers but we have a nice small club with sooting in spectacular scenery. Once our season gets underway (we cant shoot until October 1st) i'll hopefully have some reports to post!

Im heading up to Auchencairn for a week at the beginning of November, how is the wildfowling in this area? looking at maps it looks good, are there any spots particularly worth a look or avoiding altogether?

  12. hi all, I have a family holiday booked at the end of October and was wondering if anyone had any advice on wildfowling around here. I'll be staying in Kirkcudbright. i assume there are a few spots locally but all i can find at the moment is information on Wigtown bay. cheers

  15. The best part of the Season is rapidly approaching for Salmon and Sea Trout fishing on the river Frome. If anyone would like to have some guided fishing on this river i'd be happy to take you as a guest in exchange for some shooting. I would be interested in pigeon or rough shooting so please drop me a line if you fancy coming down. cheers Paul
  16. Hi There, What size chambers does it have? Cheers
  17. I fish The Frome in Dorset and just stick to 10 gram flying c - black and silver when it's overcast and red and gold when it's sunny, on the Cornish rivers I use rapala countdowns, much prefer the fly though!
