My wife wants to know why I keep taking Steveyg out and not her, I keep telling her it's only for pigeon shooting, but I don't think she believes me . Tomorrow is going to be his last week day out, as he's got a proper job now, so he will be expecting a big bag tomorrow (no pressure then) I know I can count on you JD not to let the side down. atb p/u.

It's the wife's birthday tomorrow, and i'm going to celebrate it, by having a day's pigeon shooting. (How brave is that). one has to take every opportunity one can, I just hope it's worth the aggro,

Out all day today for 19 pigeons, and no I had not got steveyg with me, it just shows I can have bad day on my own without any help or has he put the mockers on me, if so is it contagious, and will it wear off.

I opened the curtains at 7am this morning and saw about 100 pigeons on the barley stubble, some right under the window, (started to get the shakes) but after going out yesterday afternoon decided to catch up on some of the jobs I've been neglecting, rather than incur the wrath of the management of the household. With a bit of luck and some hard work I might be able to earn a pass out for Friday.

Shooting a field of rape stubble yesterday afternoon, when the farmer came on collecting bales, pigeons didn't take much notice of the tractor and trailer and still came in, ended the afternoon with a bag of 78, despite all the interruptions .

Steveyg. You try harder than anybody else I've ever known, we will crack it one day ( that's if I live long enough). Anyway you should be at work not reading these comments.

JD. That's a brilliant suggestion as the river runs past the bottom of his garden, just think of the money he will save on diesel, and when he sells his gun and tack, he can buy some decent fishing tackle.

How come when I take you out all the pigeons seem to disappear, and we don't have a good day, and when I go out with my usual shooting buddy , we have some real good days, I can't weigh this up. Sat all day Thursday on a field at the back of the house for 21 thought about packing it in and getting a proper job, and doing something more useful with my time (like work ) but in my opinion that's a 4 letter word the worst one there is, so quickly discounted that idea. Out again on Saturday on a different perm, pigeons responded well, ended the day with 112. Faith restored. Atb p/u.

That was one expensive pigeon, and I though we were having a bad day with 21 all day Thursday 200 yrds from my back door.

Iv'e had problems with beretta's but never one with brownings miroku or benelli auto's.

Shot over a field of rape stubble yesterday set up at 11am packed up at 7pm at the end of the day picked up 137 pigeons and 2 various. This brings the total for the last 6 outings to 714 pigeons and a few odds and **** Out with Steveyg tomorrow with a bit of luck we may beat his best day yet

83, 63, 86, 172, 173, 137 total 714 in the last 6 outings.

Tomorrow i'll guarantee you more than 4 shots, and right on your doorstep weather you hit them or not is down to you

If it was me you could hear shooting sunday afternoon not far from your house then I apologize and I can assure you that the smile on my face had nothing to do with the thought of you decorating while i'm out enjoying myself. I only picked up 63 anyway so you probably enjoyed yourself more staying at home decorating.

I've never known pigeons slow down after being missed with both barrels, they can't get away fast enough.

Buy a roll of camo tape and bind the arms and magnet it stops all the flashing and lasts for years. (the cloth stuff)
