  16. Just got back, fantastic but fishing in Cuba is very expensive and is only available in certain areas usually not where the tourists resorts are. We were offered a 4 hour sea fishing trip for four people at 474cuc thats about £380.00. Assume you are going to Varadero, nearest bone fish fishing is at Las Salenias 4 hours away with taxi cost of around £300.00 and fishing with a guide around £200 per day One word of advice, do not take any credit cards that are connected with any american bank, they will not work. Take stirling or euros and change in your hotel but watch the rates as they change daily. Be prepared to tip for everything even before you are served at a bar or you may have a long hot wait for a drink. The Mosquitos are there and they bite hard so take plenty of repellant or drink loads of rum as they dont like the taste!!! Big black market area so any thing you want, get to know your barman as he will supply for cash if you get my meaning. If you are going all inclusive, do what the Canadians do and take a big ( 1 pint ) insulated mug with you. This you can get filled at the bar on a regular basis. Have a great time, you will love it. chairman
  17. Hi, I am looking for a supplier of hay and straw bales who could deliver by the lorry load near to Bristol Airport. This would be an on going thing. Just wondered if any PW members know of any farmers that would be interested. Chairman

  19. we used to stay at the Meldrum Arms Hotel but we have been told it has closed. the other problem was that there was nowhere to dry any wet kit. Chairman
  20. I am due to go to Scotland in a party of five goose shooting at the end of October. Our usual hotel at Oldmeldrum has closed. Does anybody know of another hotel that caters for shooters in this area idealy with a drying room. We are looking around Inverurie, Ellon and Baniff. Any suggestions? Chairman
  21. I have both and only purchased the terminator out of interest to see how it worked. Very effective at keeping into the wind as the spring steel rod rotates in its base tube. Hypa flap shows good movement in light winds but is all over the place in strong winds and does not look lifelike where as the normal bouncers look better in stronger winds. Take away the hypa flap and what is left is well overpriced. Watch the delivery time from Ireland,my order was very delayed. chairman
  22. I have the same problem with a public footpath on my shoot. Yesterday I phoned BASC who informed me that as long as any ramblers or other members of the public who are using the footpath are not impeaded or held up in any way and are given free passage past where you are set up, then there is no law being broken and nothing to give cause for concern. I suggested that I put out a red flag and some form of warning notice at the start of the footpath but was told this was not required. Chairman
  23. Hi I am in Congresbury regards Chairman
  24.
