  2. For ten pence piece read 5 pence piece bunny brain aint that big !!
  3. salvage the axle with one of the weld on strengthened casings available from various off road suppliers, easier than trying to weld up the rust holes as it goes over the lot and you can weld right round the seam if you want quick job in situ. If you want do it properly you will have to take diff out and cut off old cover before welding new one on. :blink:
  4. if it is a full 11metre x 11 metre i will swap you the same but in woodland cammo (brand new in bag ) for it which will prob be of more use to most shooters as we aint got much desert in this country
  5. I get 24mpg from my Series IIA with petrol and 23mpg on gas. I only use the petrol in winter to start it, as she just will not start on gas. how odd my 101 starts fine on gas in winter with no choke etc but will not have it in summer have to use liquid gold to start it first then again it is a V8 and a Land Rover so what can you expect when you own one of the finest off roaders in the world that also happen to be the most tempremental beasts (apart from women) that were ever invented
  6. tax exempt (historic vehicle) perfectly legal for everyday commuting the only one to watch is most classic car insurance does not permit use for commuting only social domestic and pleasure, HGV`s on historic tax can only be used to carry their owners personal goods not for hire or reward
  7. between 8 nd 10 out of the 101 about 22 out of series 2a lightweight the same out of series 3 swb and 25 out of mitsubishi delica basically pretty grim show from all of them
