  5. was that yes please to both or one , if so i will have the other ??
  6. JOINED 15 NOV 10 , First time on here LOL only jealous i wanted them .
  7. Nothing personal glad you got it open on first application and centre fire rifles thrown in , But that is so unfair on nearly everyone else that has to wait 5 yrs untill renewal to get it opened , and even less chance of getting centre fire on first application for hunting , maybe a little easier for range/target use that i dont know . You would not get a sniff at that in Cheshire you have to wait that long for a spud gun and then only with mentor , But it is wrong and so frustrating for people and it should be the guidelines followed equally in all areas , not random hit and miss , ps i have an open certificate .
  8. Very true , spot on as said above , thats why its classed as a firearm in its own right . when you get a variation for a 22 + 22 mod that does not meen its a double act and the mod can only be used on that 22 , they are firearms on there own . so if you allready have a 22 or a 17hmr you can use the 22 mod on either . I have 2 of the same various cals and only 1 mod of each cal , But i could use 1 listed mod on them all also as said above .
  9. i have 2x 6500 x50 one is the x16 the other x30 , i find them both a pretty good all rounder , and would get another anytime , in fact has anyone got one
  10. I agree 243 is the way to go , But if your area is like cheshire you wont get a 243 for fox only a 223 , but good luck , if you dont ask you dont get .
  11. Thanks Rem223 , and with all the help and guidence to steer me , im sure i chosen correctly as it sure feels right so more than happy , But i will still be keeping my Remmy700 in 223 , and if the Sako is as accurate i will be super pleased .
  12. prices as above , and sako85 walnut and black , and i already have a scope's mod's sadly not a 14x1 typical , but the rest etc so choice was either or the actions listed , BUT SAKO IT IS deal done thanks all
  13. Nice quick one , CZ527 + MOD £650 V SAKO85 £750 , Both 223 and both nice and clean both had little use , what would your choice be , if you wanted a 223 and had the cash and a slot ready and a keeper etc LOL . thanks
  14. not something as silly like the battery not full powered .
  15. +1 just what i did , he popped round verified my storage amount and a extra ammo/bolt safe i got , He gave me the firm impression thats the procedure , from a double up in storage and house move and got a visit , and both visits within 6 months of the other . After i notified of both move and extra storage i was ok to use them pre-visit. I felt better he had been and confirmed capacity + situ , and a good chat and brew .
  16. ive found a couple of tesco veg tins fit ok , thanks for that i would of gone for open can down , but thought that would be alot of volume to fill up before blast off . So solid base down to take the pressure , this has only one port , A old webley with red plastic handle .
  17. can anyone tell me which way up you put the can on the launcher , is it flat can base or the open inside over the chamber thanks gerry
  18. Hi how many inches is the folding section approx ? . As my winny1300 is a 24" barrel , and is 33" to the end of the breech where the stock would attach , so i need the folding section to be 7" to = max 40" length folded , I guess i would need 30" barrels for this to be legal . can you let me have the o/l and folded length please so i could measure to be certain. thanks B
