  1. Mix can be passed to a dog? Forgive me if I'm wrong but thought this was Rabbit specific ? I know it can be carried by other animals such as Guinea pigs but iv never been aware of it being a danger to dogs, cats or other animals. But just incase I'm wrong.... What threat can it pose? Can a vet treat it? What are the warning signs your animal maybe infected?

Backup your Mysql database right now, two other very large forums just had their main dbs wiped. id sujest you do it right away, and get the latest security update from invision..
  3. only qwerk i have with that, is that there appears to be no evidence of claws. I'v got another speculation though, maybe the other shooters put this down as a hoax. So... i'm going to bait the area up, and leave a hiden I.R camera to see what happens during the night
  4. Your eyes are fine mate its this dam auto focus or rather Auto un-focus as the case maybe
  5. Just to go with the other thread (big cat sightings) What do we think this is from?
  6. Intereting , the **** pit as you put it, It did seem to all be in the same area. As for the size of the print, two hands one of my freind (gloved) one mine our hands are of normal size. The Black lighter in the photograph, should give a clear indication of size its mesures 8cm in length (80mm) and is 2.2cm(22mm) wide If you bear with for one moment i will upload a photo of the lighter next to a tape mesure

  11. Not at all I just ignored your insinuation, Why would I just make it up? .Sooner or later you will realize I’m not someone who tells lie's, I leave that to other people. However anyway lets not get into a debate about peoples honesty, I want all of your opinions, lets just discuss the facts here are the photos I took on my cell phone yesterday what do you guys make of them? Im now going up to the site with a proper HI rez camera to take some more photos of the gigantic Pileups, Feather piles take some plaster casts and look for more prints, il leave you guys to debait what they are while im gone, If i don't come back then somebody please Phone 999!!!!
  12. mimic, perhaps it was a bull that provided those droppings................just a thought. Thats one posibility, But hmm There is no Bulls/cows there, It sure as hell wasnt fox or badger, i dont think it could of been deer and it certainly wasnt rabbit the four piles to which i refer, are sort of unbroken pileups (like coiled snakes) black about 2kg each, There Big... There is NO WAY a dog could of done that not 8 kg worth, But its an intersting suggestion, I don't have pics of that yet but i should have them latter today if you hold for a moment i will upload the pics i snaped with the phone their not the best detail and the is larger than it looks maybe 4/5" across
  13. Out of pure curiosity and i know this may seem like a strange question but how much Poo does a 90 to 187 pound big cat do in one sitting? and is it black?
  14. you'l all rip the **** out of me you wouldn't beleive me if i told you what i saw mate All i can say is I AM NOT GOING UP THERE ALONE! no frigging way. Im going to get more photos today and take a sample to the vets for an I'D im not risking a comment till then.
  15. Why did I even bother. Next time I'm in a gun shop and this happens , I didn't see anything, I didn't hear anything , and im sure as hell not going to post anything about it. The best course of action is to burry your head in a bucket of sand and pretend you know nothing However, if anyone else would like to dare speak out about abuse of airguns, Be my guest and I wish you luck. Nevertheless I still stand by my words, To do something even if it only makes a small difference has to be better than doing nothing at all. And here a license was really all we could offer.
  16. You have to ask yourself one question, If your afraid of putting your air gun on license or registering yourself as an owner, It begs the question, Why? What exactly are you afraid of? Now comes a long Hmm
  17. Thanks Axe, my answer is definitely YES Airgun Licensing will go a long way to help make a difference.

    Oh my god

I was going to give you the benifit of the doubt, but no, you are as stupid as I first thought. Do you really think the law regarding pellets leaving the boundry of your property only applies to people under 17? With every post you are digging a bigger hole. HEAR HEAR!!!. ----------------- Great Fool's cannot be deafted by common sence, you must first Educate them to what it means.
  19. I shot about 180 rabbits last year with an 11.8 ft pound air rifle. It would do the job at 20 35 yards pretty well if I was dead on in my shooting. The problem is, I'm not always dead on - who is honestly? That's why I've gone for rimfire. I don't like runners - not a bit, and I know nobody does so I'm not pointing fingers at anyone else. Since I got the CZ a month ago, I've had about a hundred stone dead, instant kills. and one that I needed a follow up shot for because of wind drift. What would have been runners with the old gun, just twitch for a few seconds. The only worry I have is that I could err towards the nose and do some horrible damage without an outright kill. To avoid this, I always aim at the area betwen the eye and kneck over about 40 yards and if there's cross a breeze, I won't shoot unless it's the rabbot's body that is down wind rather than its nose. The CZ is far better choice and should provide a clean kill at 50 yards without any issues at all. As you put it stone dead , Runners are not something I relish neither is crawling through gauss bushes to finish the job. I like to go home with a clean conscience and a dead rabbit. As for shooting Seagulls firstly as Henry has pointed out most are protected, Secondly one does not point and fire a rifle in the air, if one has half a degree of sence. One word Backstop!.
  20. :( I feel an Air rifle of 12ftlbs is not sufficient for even rabbits , I wouldn't take anything larger than a rat with one myself. However that's my opinion.

    Oh my god

accepted Now i will mention this shop to the FLO, but as stated. It will be just hear say, even if we prove it, a crime has not actually been commited.(yet) However I feel those of us who care, about what happens to others, should try to do something to combat this problem, and help authoritys if we can. I still feel a license Fee (revenue) that could provide funds, necessary to enforce and implement these harsh penalty's. To people who recklessly endanger others with airguns. It is probably still the best we can offer at this time. However I welcome any suggestions.
