  1. Aparantly, the said individual has done it before with the same pistols. I replied to his add today to see if I could get a reply. There is a thread on BBS regarding this gentleman and it does seem that a newbie was stung.
  2. The jury is still out on the Eagle and if you look in Airgun Forum there is currently a thread about the rifle and its build quality? It gets a good write up in the mags, but it is a case of trying one for yourself. However, IMHO the S200 is the one to go for. As accurate as a very accurate thing taking accuracy pills, mag system which works, wieghs about 6 lbs and easy to work on. Down side is the lack of shots, about 50 in .177, but when would you shoot that many when hunting? you could probably get a secondhand one including the mag system for about £220?
  3. Only in America Don't tell them your name Snakebite

I believe that Mr Chambers is in hospital at the moment according to a thread on AirgunBBS.
  5. try head shots the meat is then as white as chicken its the blood that darkens the meat? Always do! For Bunny stew, I leave the meat to marinade in a little Guiness, stock with a dash of Soy Sauce, hence the meat goes dark. Cook slowly for at least four hours and hey presto, Dark Meat Chicken. The little Drystone's love it and not an E number in sight.
  6. Nothing like Mr Bunny. He can provide great sport and a meal for the family, as long as you tell the kids "the meat is dark and from a special dark meat chicken with a fluffy tail"
  7. Just a further point regarding the S16S Vs the 410, the resale value of the 410 is very good and when one does come up for sale second hand, it is sold very quickly, whereas, the S16 doesn't usually attract many buyers and i have seen many come up for sale on other forums and not sold. IMHO 410 is the one to go for.

    any advice

Time to say goodbye Muckchucker or whatever your name is. Troll
  9. Now come on gentlemen ! No need to send "donations" to those fine people at LACS as it seems that they have given up anyway. I have been going to (following) the Gargrave Boxing Day hunt for a number of years now and this year there were more people than ever to watch the Hunt set off and not a lentel munching, tree hugging, 2CV driving, hippy, vegan, gay ANTI in sight This also seems to be the case around the country too. I also heard Ann (washed up MP) Widdicombe on the radio this morning, blabbering on about the law and how it should be upheld with a show of strength from the authorities to ensure that no Fox's are killed by hunt's. Get a life you urban muppet !
  10. Sorry to tell you this, but I shot and ate him earlier this year. In that case, I must of shot either Bugs or Roger last year :*)

    small engined 4x4

Agreed ! You might want to get a quote first before buying a 4X4. There is an 18 year old lad in the office who has a N reg Nova 1.2 and his insurance is £1,000 + and that's third party only never mind fully comp. The cost of the cover will probably be more than the cars worth! Sorry to be a killjoy, but it's only when you get to be an old geezer like me when insurance becomes affordable.
  13. A proverbial hop, skip & lead payload away. Can't wait for Wintermas to be over & I can get back to shooting and walking this spare tyre off. Thanks for the offer, there doesn't seem to be many of us in the Craven area. Cheers mate.
  14. Does that mean I am not going to get my Falcon PF18 MP ?
