  1. If this is still available I would like it please. It looks ideal for shooting and it is getting cooler outside now. I am 13 years old and shoot with my dad vinny v on here. I will ask him to arrange payment. Thank you
  2. Hi you've got some nice rabbits there. What cal is the rifle? J
  3. Thanks Charlie, I'm not sure but I have seen what appears to be a brown discolouring to some metals on usually older guns. V
  4. My Dad and I have now seriously looked at all of the options and advice given and my Dad has now purchased for me a lovely Beretta Whitewing 20 Gauge Over and Under. I feel very lucky as he has paid for the stock to be adjusted and for me to have another lesson with the gun which shoots beautifully. During the lesson the instructor told me that it is a lovely fit and would struggle to make it any better. Thanks to Mick the gunsmith at Nevilles in Alfreton who even took the time to show me how to clean and oil the gun. I love my gun and practice with it every day at home tracing lines around the ceiling etc. Just wanted to share this with you all. J
  5. Am I so wrong to enjoy the sport with my dad ??? !!!!!????!!?? I feel somewhat disappointed with the opinions of the members of parliament and if they feel that taking my shotgun certificate away will make the country safer then I truly believe they are very wrong. J
  6. i am simply a young adult enjoying a sport with my dad which some politicians seem to think is wrong and dangerous ?!?!? They seem to liken shooting certificates to a fishing licence and i think more kids have probably been seriously injured or drowned fishing than have been injured in shooting related accidents. Can someone provide any stats as they just seem to think shooting is so dangerous. J
  7. I have just had my 12th birthday and have been shooting 20 bore shotguns for about 6 months i am also a sgc holder and live in Derbyshire. I am posaibly one of the nine certificate holders mentioned on the programe. I have just watched the politics show on bbc iplayer and i see no reason why young people shoudent have sgc. I truly enjoy the sport and look forward to shooting at weekends with my dad because i sometimes beat him at clay pigeon. It seems to me the politician did not realy have a clue about the difference between a shotgun certificate and a firearms certificate. Belive it or not, not all of us are mad junior kids that want to run around like headless chickens with a gun like Raol Moat. I wish some politicians would concentrate on issues that really matter and leave us kids to enjoy a sport in the company of friends and adults. Just my opinion as a junior shooter and would love your thoughts. J
  8. Just bought a Brattonsound cabinet and found it to be excellent. I'm sure this one will be no different. Good luck with the sale.
  9. Hello and welcome to PW hope you enjoy the sport. J
  10. Thank you Swiss I love the sport and think I will be hooked for life. Some people have told me I am too young and don't offer me any support but I am really keen and truly value your opinion. Thank you J
  11. Thank you for your support and I value your opinion on the Lincoln shotgun.I have been thinking about the Lincoln mainly due to price and I openly accept any recommendationns about other shotguns (mainly 20 gauge) Thank you J
