The gunsmith who fixed the gun for me is not a bad bloke, me and my mates deal with him on a regular basis carts, deeks etc we give him alot of trade, he charged me £20 for the new pin and service, he said he took it apart and gave it a good clean and I belive him, the mechanism seems to be alot smoother, thanks for your comments they have been taken on board.

went out Friday afternoon had five hours under a flight line I have been watching for weeks had a total of 12 pigeons and 1 crow, went out Saturday morning early, first two hours got 3 pigeons and 2 crows, sat for a bit nothing then I saw 3 coming down the field left and right ejected shot carts put two more in could not close the gun ejectors seized up, could not find out what the problem was (not that I would know if I saw the problem)took it to the gunsmith he told me it was 1 small pin that had worn so I left it and told him to give it a good service, he advised me to have it serviced at least once a year, I think it would be a good idea having never bothered before.
